So, an update on the Bleeker medium flap bag - the lining was so bad that I decided to scrub it with Shout. Which helped the lining but trashed the leather - it looked very worn and dry. Since then I've been applying Leather CPR liberally 2X/day for days and days and days. Finally today she is starting to look better. No Blackrocks yet, not sure if I should on this leather? Opinions?

I used Black Rocks on my Bleeker and it turned out beautifully.

Yes a metal tag.
Is yours navy or black? Even in person I have a tough time distinguishing navy from black so I can’t tell in a pic. Eother way it’s lovely.

Actually typing this just made me laugh because I bought a tabac courier thinking it was British tan and now I am thinking I might have wound up buying a navy Courier thinking it was black lol.

Haha I gave up trying to figure out colors. I do have a navy courier and this one definitely black. I'll post a pic later.

Forgive my somewhat off topic post here, but since we all collect I thought there might be an “answer” here. Has anyone experienced the strange phenomena where something you searched for for years magically turns up at a price you like, you buy it, and then a few days or two weeks later another searched for item pops up, followed by a third?

My Haunted Mansion bag wasn’t a grail but I over paid because I wanted it and had been banned and figured empty credit card, go ahead. Then a victorian banded agate snake pendant turned up. The seller took an offer and layaway so I figured why not. Payments aren’t real high, it will keep me in line. Then a victorian tortoise shell locket complete with chain turned up, asked a few questions, told myself the price while correct was too high right now because of the other things I bought...woke up this morning to the seller making me an offer (I love that ebay does this now) that while I really shouldn’t have taken financially was too good to refuse. So in 1.5 weeks I went from empty credit card to a less than happy big bill coming my way in September lol.

P.s. I hate ebay charging sales tax now. It really will limit my purchases (above story excluded) except for items not taxed in my state, but I rarely by second hand shoes or clothes so most ebay Items I search for like bags and jewelry are taxed

Yup, you keep hunting and you'll find it eventually. Sometimes it takes a long time and like you sometimes there are plenty!
$10 flea market holla! I never find anything at fleas except sigs, but look what I found today! I have the same bag, but the one I found today is actually in better condition. It was like I found the holy grail when I lifted it from the bottom of a big bin of purses.

Congrats! She's a beauty!

I have that one too but mine is also in much worse shape. Excellent find!

Looks good! The lining looks much better!

Just finished a rehab of Lenox bag style #9918. Incorrectly listed on Ebay so I took a chance. She is bigger than I thought: 11 1/2 x 8 3/4 x 3 1/4. I really like the shape though. She wasn't too bad when I bought her, just shabby and floppy.

Does anyone have any recommendations for navy dye? I got this purse for cheap a couple of months ago and the front is really worn compared to the inside (which is why I got it, so I wouldn’t worry about messing it up). The white of the suede is showing on one side and I just want that colored.

Do you mean the white “fringe” around the trim? I would use leather paint and a very thin brush rather than dye to cover that.

Have you tried conditioning it yet?

Here you go: done with the black one. My navy courier is very faded. I'm curiously waiting to see what @BlondieToHell ends up doing to her navy Willis. I too have conditioned and the color is NOT being restored.
