Hello,

Does anyone have an advise how to rehab a Coach venchetta leather bag that has water stains on it? The leather looked like an LV monogram bag but this bag is a Coach Signature satchel with venchetta leather. It has some water stains on the bottom and the sides.

Thank you.

Part of me wants to bath her to see if the water stains will even out, then condition, condition, condition. Wax, wax, wax so it doesn't happen again.what do the other ladies say??? I have never done a Coach vachetta...

Here is a thread about giving a bath to a legacy Gigi to remove serious water stains

Hello everyone! I bought a Rambler in great condition EXCEPT some "dents", for lack of a better word in the inside flap (but undortunately you can see part of them, even when the outside flap is down if that makes sense). Here are some pictures. They feel slightly hard but not dirty or sticky or anything - would the hardness be the leather stretching and drying up over time, do you think? I am thinking I will give a warm (or hot?) sudsy bath and kind of manipulate the dents with my fingers to soften them up during the bath and then condition the heck out of it? Anyone think that'll work? The bag is beautiful except for the dents and I will definitely still use it because they are not extremely noticeable but.....

As always, thank you!!

I rehabbed a legacy zip hobo that had some dents in the leather, you can see before and after pics at the link below. I just gave it a bath and did a lot of massaging of the area while bathing and conditioning.

It did make the dents a little less obvious but I wasn't able to obliterate them. If you search this thread you find some other discussions about indentations and dents. Nice bag, good luck!

Hi Katev -thanks, I did read a lot the other night when I bought the bag but thought I'd throw it out there again for more ideas...I will try the washing and massaging and hope they can diminish a bit - it's a lovely bag. BTW, I have the same 2001 Legacy zip - love it..gonna give that a bath, too, just to reshape it a bit.

I rescued this cutie bag from a thrift store today! I passed it up last week because I thought the price $68 was too high, but today it was in the 20% off bin and I couldn't resist. I don't think it's ever been used. Had original stuffing and a Coach brochure stuffed inside. No lining to this bag, and the leather is very thick. Made in Costa Rica. Can anyone tell me what type of bag she is? I'm thinking something from the late 90s.

Nice find! It's an ergo pocket zip bag 9033, I rehabbed a black one as a gift for my SIL, see the link below:

I made the mistake of calling it a pocket flap at the link above, but there's no flap!

Hi everyone! I wanted to show off my NYC Basic bags......the lighting isn't the best to highlight the rich colors but they all came out just beautiful. They all have that heavy Talon Zipper and thick leather...just gorgeous. the Burgundy did not come with a strap so I was going to look for one but as luck would have it, I bought a Burgundy City bag that I can borrow the strap from - yay! I washed with Dawn, dried for 24 hours, applied Leather CPR x2 and then a coat or 2 of BlackRocks and used Brasso on the hardware.

congrats and they look great! I sadly just sold two of my NYC Basic bags since they were too small for me to carry, and I mostly bought them to have fun with rehabbing. But they are so cute!!

Thanks Jessi - I really love the feel of them, so heavy and they're so old.....but I know what you mean about not holding a lot....we will see how much use I get out of them, other than just admiring them.....;)
