Has anyone had any luck removing ink stains?
Thanks Katev - I read through the site and it looks like good stuff - a few questions: Have you used it to totally dye the whole bag or for touchups here and there or both? I also have a white/ivory city bag that I have rehabed as well but still am not happy with - dingy and marks still on it (I did soften the leather with several applications of Leather Restorer & conditioner which helped a lot though). I am thinking of dying the white bag red? What do you think - how that would go? any advice/suggestions is appreciated!I've had rehabs like that and when I am all done and I still don't feel comfortable carrying the bag, I think the only thing left to do is buy a jar of dye and give that a try, see link below. Before I dye it I rewash the bag in warm water and try to remove all the conditioner and black rocks.

just reading this and thanks! So, in the case of this bag, I would try to match up the borwn and paint ofver the black "swirly" areas? I'm a newbie to all of this as you might have guessed!!Get a sample jar; pour a small amount in a pill bottle cap; thin out with water; apply with sponge brush. The key is thin, thin layers. The stains and discolorations will blend in. It's my go to method to when all else fails.
I like to use another conditioner before Black Rocks because it moisturizes and plumps up the leather. It soaks in and nourishes. Black Rocks, on the other hand, is more of a wax that sits on top and holds that moisture in as well as protects.Hi everyone.
I'm going to try and do my first Coach Rehab on a Black Station bag.
I have a couple of questions before I start to tackle this:
- Can i just use Black Rocks as the conditioner? It seems a lot of people here add a different type of conditioner then apply Black Rocks. Do you know why?
- How can I get rid or make less noticeable the faded areas of the leather?
- Do you know how to get the front "tag" or "flap" from curling?
- Do you know how to fix the "raw" looking edges?
Thanks.

When you wash the bag, you have the opportunity to mold the bag into any shape you want, so you can get rid of the curling of the flap. You could always lay it flat away from the bag and place a towel with heavy books on top while it dries.
Depending on how bad the faded areas and raw edges are, Black Rocks could be enough to fix these. If not, you can mix a bit of acrylic paint in with your conditioner or use leather dye.
Thanks. Has anyone tried using Lexol on their purse as a conditioner? I've seen Leather Therapy(I'm not sure which Leather Therapy though, Google has a lot of results), Apple Conditioner, and Cadillac but no Lexol.
Any suggestions for denim stains on suede? Just bought a rose suede bag that looks brand new except some denim stains on one corner where it rubbed.

Do any of you ladies have advice on what I could do the get these scuffs on the front out? Is it even worth attempting??
It could also do with a little reshaping, but I'm not sure if this is the type of bag I can give a bath because there's an inner lining.
Let me know what you guys think!
Thanks!Believe me you'll know when it is just right. Mix the color and try on an inconspicuous area to check; you can wipe it off if it is not right. The wood-n-stuff color chart matches the coach colors. I don't like using the stuff a lot because it is basically a paint that sits on top but it does last. The company is terrible with directions so I had to experiment. I did a touch up on a bag a year ago and it has lasted. Again, it was a last resort.
