how cool of him to GO FOR IT! I had a Lexington briefcase fixed up for mine, but it was a smidge too small. someday, I'll find something better and bigger for him.
Would you suggest that instead of the BlackRock. So far, I have coming Apple Conditioner, BlackRock,(and a suede cleaner and brush for 2 suede bags). Would I use the Montana oil in addition to these products or instead of one of them? I love learning all of this - so very interesting! I told my 12 year old about the coach bag in the washer machine and she thought I was teasing her..."Sure, Mom, haha!!" Then, I ahd her read some here...tomorrow, I am dunking (sink first) with Woolite a vintage black (messenger?) bag that needs a cleaning and better shaping...I printed out instructions to follow - so excited! I will be sure to take pics before and after and post! Thanks to youa ll odr sharing all of your knowledge!
Ohhhhh....I have a gorgeous red Lexington that's literally brand new because it's just too small. By the time I put my tablet and papers in it there's barely room for keys!
I grabbed this one for 14 bucks. .. Lexington was slightly more lol
Where did you find them for such great deals??? That Lexington should re-sell well for you if you end up not using her.
Probably. ... I'm just sentimental and don't sell well lol! I have a sheridan that I've had since high school that I've never liked. I can't get rid of the darn thing on ebay.
I actually found this metropolitan and Soho on craigslist and got them authenticated. There's been a coach retail and factory store in the area for many many years so there are nice bags floating around!
I see tons of great bags on craigslist in this area too, but people are nuts with their prices. They are nearly factory price for used bags usually!!
Any suggestions on this one? Keeps getting blotchier

is it 100/% dry and absorbed at this picture point?
I felt the same way! I checked CL twice this past week and the prices are ridiculous!I see tons of great bags on craigslist in this area too, but people are nuts with their prices. They are nearly factory price for used bags usually!!
Thanks so much Jessi!!The "oil" type conditioners are best on the dryer leather to be used as a thinner more absorbent leather "plumper" that gets into the deep part of the fibers. Apple would also do well in the early stages of conditioning if you don't have any other product. That's what I've done for many of my rehabs. Blackrocks is wonderful as a "finisher" It tends to sit more on the surface (though if you warm it a little upon application, a gentle warm blowdryer etc it will absorb a bit quicker) and it is great for tougher scuffs and scrapes, etc. But I don't think I'd use blackrocks early in the conditioning process.
