Hello :)

I am hoping someone in here can help me. I see so many of your beautiful bags in the after pictures with no scratches and scuffs! How on earth do you get them out of the leather? I have a maggie I am working on and her previous owner seemed to just toss her around. She has scratches and rubbing on all the corners. I'm trying to make that blend in with the color of the rest of the bag. How do you darken it up? I REALLY appreciate anyone who can help me :) Thanks!
On mine, the scratches are still there but they are camouflaged. The best thing for this is Blackrocks. You can use also use acrylic paint but that takes skill. If it is really bad, you can use Leather Refinish, which makes it look new.

That's the stuff.

Here is a picture that compares what BlackRocks did for the piping on my Legacy Bridgit. The left side is untreated, the right is treated. All I did was rub in one coat:

Went to a tack shop about 15 minutes from my house. They had Back Rocks...woo hoo! They also carry Leather Therapy, big jugs o' Leather CPR, and a slew of Lexol products. Sweet!! I knew living in farm country would pay off eventually!!

Lol...that would be Black Rocks, not Back Rocks.

Since I'm in a holding pattern waiting to get my hands on my Watermelon Tote, I decided to tackle this gal this week.

I wiped her down with Lexol Wipes to get some surface crud off and applied some Oxy Gel to a couple of spots. About to put her in a bath with some Dawn Complete and scrub her down.

She'll likely be my first use of Black Rock as well, so I'm excited to try it!

I'll keep you posted if I can pull off an extreme makeover with this little chocolate brown lass!!

^^my brain is mush today...I'm using Dawn Power Clean, not Dawn Complete. It has a really pleasant smell to it! The water is already filthy! She's gonna need a couple rounds of scrub n' soak, me thinks.

I finally got some hangtags! I took my purses into the newly opened outlet and the manager found some pretty good matches.

I got a white new style leather tag for my white geometric. It isn't a perfect match but it is fine. I have a white hangtag for my Emmie, so if I wasn't lazy I could keep switching it between the two.

For my rose Bridgit, she gave me a brown leather hangtag that looks okay and a round brass one. I am wondering if there is a way to antique it to match the hardware. I was thinking about metallic craft paint.

Then I had a teal coin purse that needed a tag. She found a white one, but while she was in the back, I noticed that they had some aqua coin purses and the hangtags were very close to the correct color. When she came back, I pointed them out and she took one off of a coin purse and gave it to me!

I asked her if Coach gave them a collection of hangtags when they opened and she said no. She had a big supply of hangtags just from them falling off the items they have in the store and they have only been open for a few weeks.

Excellent idea on the paint, I've thought about wood stain too. I need to hit the other coach store in town.
