I'm on my tablet so I'm not even going to try to quote! Cute bags joodlz. Y'all need to stop posting those cute court bags or I'm going to decide I have to have one!

I LOVE Court bags!!! It's really a great bag if you like a classic top handle/ crossbody. Roomy and made TOUGH!!! I love a lady like bag that can kick butt.

A little off topic, but referring to my query a few days ago about cleaning Dooneys...Lexol seems to have done the trick for me. It relaxed the pebbled leather a bit, as it was pretty stiff on both bags, and restored the tan piping nicely. Both bags are reshaping well. Thanks everyone!

And by the way, I've been reading the general "authenticate this" threads in hopes of finding some info about some non-Coach bags I've acquired over the years - and recently. I've also done some searching by brands and not found what I need. Do I start a new thread? How do I do it? Any help is much appreciated!

If you just go back to the basic "handbags and purses" forum threads, you can post general topic questions about random bags there. I'm learning a lot from all my thrifting so if I have learned info on one of your bags I'll pipe in on it..

You do remember my last name is PURPLE, don't you???
If I ever found a purple Willis, with or without a hangtag, she's comin' home with ME!

OK purple fans, check this out....a couple of auctions:
I'd say Hyacinth should give an opinion on this becaue I've NEVER seen a purple/plum Convertible clutch....and pocket purse? not sure
very cool if real

The Court bag is what started this whole journey for me in the first place!! I bought my first one while active duty in the US Army... matched my uniform and was the only brand endorsed by the US Army for carrying with a uniform... they used to sell them in the PX on some bases...
I paid $150 for mine at the outlet store in Carmel, CA in 1997 and thought I was getting a deal. $3 makes me want to cry... lol!!
And then, after all that... it was lost during my divorce when my ex husband sent me to jail for something I did not do, cleaned out the house, and put all of my belongings out on the driveway... he let his employees (he owns a restaurant) come by and take whatever they wanted.

I have been slowly replacing the things I lost ever since... and mostly have everything back again except heirlooms that were not replaceable...

Your Court bag is beautiful, and my favorite color for any bag... black!!

Thank you, but I am so sorry; it's great that you have retained a positive outlook on life!

That's good to know about Lexol if I ever get around to rehabbing my D&B bags!

You might reach out to the moderators, like Vlad, for advice. I am trying to get info about a lovcat wallet without any luck right now!

I'm out of town again (Washington, DC) so I may never finish the 3 red bags I am rehabbing! But now that I've washed and conditioned them, the convertible clutch is a dark burgandy color but the small shoulder sac is darker and looks purple/eggplant.

I am so jealous you guys find such great deals at thrift stores. The wagon wheel on the conestoga wagon broke in No CO and the only thing you find at thrift stores is junk. Yard sales are nothing but trash. :(

dont forget to stop by some thrift stores while you're there;) Hopefully you'll find some free time:graucho:

This one’s name was always a mystery to me...until Hyacinth authenticated it as a 1993 Casey Bag #9923 a few days ago. I paid $5.00 at Goodwill in 2008. For a little bag, she’s very solid, just badly in need of a bath! See the before pics at http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/authenticate-this-coach-694619-730.html#post21975887

During the bath I used bar soap on the dark areas on the front flap and scrubbed with a toothbrush. As she dried, they’re still dark. Then I tried a pink eraser...still dark. Conditioned with Leather CPR and more erasing seemed to lighten a bit. I just don’t think this is ever going to completely clean up.

Finished with Blackrocks and it’s as good as it’s going to get...because of the magnetic closure, this part of the flap will always get touched! There are still a couple of mystery dents on the front flap that I hope, with some exercise, will diminish. And on the back, the diagonal "stripes" are not scratches, just the grain of the leather.

An overall improvement, I think, and I’ll use and enjoy her!
first of all, all of your bags look amazing but this one is my favorite!! The color is fabulous, it came out so great!! Congratulations and enjoy wearing her!!!
