I'd like to find some free time to visit the Smithsonian and see the Hope Diamond!
I've seen the Hope Diamond and it is breathtaking!
That sounds like lots of fun!! Enjoy your trip!!I'd like to find some free time to visit the Smithsonian and see the Hope Diamond!
I'm sure there will be a bag twin for you way over in lanai-land.![]()
Just beautiful!! What a wonderful job--I absolutely love British Tan it is so rich looking!
All of these came out fantastic!!!
More great rehabs! I like this one the best - the shape is lovely, and the dark area near the magnetic closure is just adding warmth and history to her.
Funny - I like my brand new bags to be in perfect condition, but I like the usage markings on the older ones, and don't think of them as dirt, but as history and adventures
That's good to know about Lexol if I ever get around to rehabbing my D&B bags!
You might reach out to the moderators, like Vlad, for advice. I am trying to get info about a lovcat wallet without any luck right now!

first of all, all of your bags look amazing but this one is my favorite!! The color is fabulous, it came out so great!! Congratulations and enjoy wearing her!!!
My last name is PURPLE too,no wonder I feel so at home here. You girls get such buys here, my thrifts just yield Vera Bradley bags. I'm stuck bidding on EBay.

that's a burgandy bag. I have the square bag with the buckle front and also the basic bag w/o the handle in that color it was around for several years.I'm out of town again (Washington, DC) so I may never finish the 3 red bags I am rehabbing! But now that I've washed and conditioned them, the convertible clutch is a dark burgandy color but the small shoulder sac is darker and looks purple/eggplant.

The only thing I can see wrong is the drawstring has lost some color, probably due to opening and closing of the bag. Since this part is not removable, anyone have any tips about the best way to get the color back? I think I'm going to give the purse a bath and polish her up. I will try to post some pics later in the week. TIA for any tips.
I'm afraid lanai-land is just about closed for the season...it's just getting to be toooo stinkin' hot & humid out there (I'm melting...)! Gotta bring the rehab operation indoors for awhile.
