I'm on my tablet so I'm not even going to try to quote! Cute bags joodlz. Y'all need to stop posting those cute court bags or I'm going to decide I have to have one!

You NEED to have one...they hold a lot of stuff, yet don't have a huge footprint...and they're tough! Thanks for your comments, always!

A little off topic, but referring to my query a few days ago about cleaning Dooneys...Lexol seems to have done the trick for me. It relaxed the pebbled leather a bit, as it was pretty stiff on both bags, and restored the tan piping nicely. Both bags are reshaping well. Thanks everyone!

And by the way, I've been reading the general "authenticate this" threads in hopes of finding some info about some non-Coach bags I've acquired over the years - and recently. I've also done some searching by brands and not found what I need. Do I start a new thread? How do I do it? Any help is much appreciated!

Maybe I'll wander into a thrift store and the court bag of my dreams will be waiting for me bathed in sunlight. A choir of angels will sing. Sitting right behind her will be a beautiful purple Willis.


They will, of course, both be marked down to 50 cents and have their hangtags.

If it makes you feel any better this might help me with my Sheridan Monticello. I tried leather honey on her which shined her a bit but she might benefit from some softening.

If I ever found a purple Willis, with or without a hangtag, she's comin' home with ME!

That would be the best day ever!!! My only Willis is black, and I find myself carrying her much more often than I thought... I keep seeing that photo of the rainbow of Willis bags and wondering where all those bags are hiding....

which photo? I want to see! anyone else see the red willis in the authentication thread that turned out to be fake? made me sad.

I know someone, I think Hyacinth, posted a picture of a purple and I've been jonesing ever since.

More great rehabs! I like this one the best - the shape is lovely, and the dark area near the magnetic closure is just adding warmth and history to her.
Funny - I like my brand new bags to be in perfect condition, but I like the usage markings on the older ones, and don't think of them as dirt, but as history and adventures

During the bath I used bar soap on the dark areas on the front flap and scrubbed with a toothbrush. As she dried, they’re still dark. Then I tried a pink eraser...still dark. Conditioned with Leather CPR and more erasing seemed to lighten a bit. I just don’t think this is ever going to completely clean up.

Finished with Blackrocks and it’s as good as it’s going to get...because of the magnetic closure, this part of the flap will always get touched! There are still a couple of mystery dents on the front flap that I hope, with some exercise, will diminish. And on the back, the diagonal "stripes" are not scratches, just the grain of the leather.

An overall improvement, I think, and I’ll use and enjoy her!
