Snowplow driver?? We are getting hit again tonight and clearly I have weather on the mind.
i am a purse fanatic. However, what i noticed is that people buy purses based on prestige or social status. Keep in mind, that if you don't have it, you don't have it. Class, style, swagger, or whatever the term that is hot in the streets can not be bought. You can have these attributes no matter what age, size, and demographic you are. I see so many people buying high end items just to feel hot or socially accepted; in all actuality, it does nothing to your over all appearance. True style can not be bought. You ever see women that are put together and they don't have any obvious logos or pretentiousness going on? They have confidence which draws people to them. I can see that in such women as halle berry, charlize theron, angelina jolie, and erykah badu. With all of erykah badu's wackiness (i love her by the way), the premier designers are attracted to her; i.e. Tom ford and givenchy. They consider her a natural beauty. She is confident in her own skin. With that being said you buy what you love as long as it is not hurting anyone.
I was a long coach devotee before the quality declined over the past thirty years. However, their quality is coming back. I recently bought a british tan duffle bag about a month ago and i love it. I wear it as a messenger bag. I also have high end bags in my disposal and contemporary bags such as phillip lim's 31 hour bag in which i get the most compliments on. It is not the bag, it is the confidence and the heart that you portray when you come across people.
Blessings!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can only afford a coach wristlet. A wallet is pushing it. lol. *is a twenty something*No customer should ever hear that from a SA, regardless if you are in a LV store, Coach store or even at a "low" end store like Wal-Mart. Good for you for walking out. Talk about a turnoff. The thing I find most ridiculous about this whole thing is how there is such a vast variety of handbag styles out there to cater to women and men of all ages, sizes, races, whatever!! I would have never been able to afford a Coach bag in my 20's anyway. Isn't that the case for most people?
well with all the outlets and stuff why would one buy a counterfeit that falls apart in days when you can get a genuine one from a coach outlet at a reasonable price? They are fighting the counterfeits via lower pricing and pricing the counterfeits out. People buy counterfeits because they want to carry the brand but cannot afford to do so, so the coach outlet stores basically fills that niche and stamps a lot of the counterfeits out and the reason for buying them in the 1st place. Actually read the situation a bit before actually complaining next time? And this is why I stopped carrying coach! They shot themselves in the foot when they opened outlets. In addition, they are doing absolutely nothing to prevent counterfeiters.
+1 Try buying with the fb promo then and frequent this forum. folks on this board will let you know when there's a fb promo. That's what I did and coach has been sending me pces ever since, even though I don't buy that much. The SAs noticed my worn no name bag and know I'm in the market for a new bag, but I'm waiting for the style that catches my eye.First of all I want to say that it is sad that you will believe anything you read on here. lizmil could have misunderstood the SA, or maybe she didn't. Who know? However, if the SA did say that, I will agree that it was probably better left unsaid.
Coach knows they are not a premier brand. Of course they are about business. What company isn't? But to say that they care about nothing other than money is a bit extreme. No, make that a lot extreme. They have great customer service. Are they trying to get you to buy something? ABSOLUTELY. What SA isn't? But they also want YOU to be happy. Maybe the SA lizmil had an encounter with handled the situation poorly; maybe she misinformed her.
Coach is going in a new direction. They hired a new creative director for heaven's sake. That doesn't mean they want to completely change their customer base. They want to broaden it, what company doesn't? But of course you are not going to get PCE if you never shop there. It's called PREFERRED customer event for a reason.
xx
that is what i thought, i get PCE every single time and i never even bought FP bag and am 48, something is just not right. they might just do it randomly but SA came up with her own rude explanationThis makes no sense as my mom (in her sixties) keeps getting pces and my sis and i dont

I actually think the poster had a valid point in that access to outlet stuff at affordable prices puts a damper on the counterfeit industry. She should not have attacked you in order to make her point. I think how much counterfeit Coach you see depends on where you live and whether there is access to an outlet. Once we got an outlet, I stopped seeing counterfeit Coach. Now everyone seems to be carrying both FP and MFF stuff, all authentic. The counterfeits I see are all LV.Excuse me!! How dare you make assumptions on what I know or don't know??!! I see counterfeit coach being worn and sold daily!! Before you open your mouth and begin making posts, and you have nothing of value to contribute, I suggest you refrain.... :eyeroll:

We have a 3 outlets within 1hr drive. The outlet is even available online, so much easier access...I still see women knocking about in god awful ugly counterfeit coach canvas bags!! :vomit:
I'm exiting the coach forum before I step on toes like the rude poster I responded to. I know when to refrain.
On a final note - I still get PCE coupons regularly even though I haven't bought a coach item in over 3 years and I'm in my 40s. If I remember I'll share...
Have a good evening ladies!
