I'm curious on how to clean or care or does it stand up to wear the dior saddle in the oblique...specifically the versions that have the fabric handle? I'm debating between these too but really love the embroidery one. I have multiple other bags so it won't be an "everyday" bag as I rotate bags but concerned about wear and tear. TIA!

Owners of the Book Tote with the same woven pattern don't complain generally about their bags. In fact. most of the members here claim that the canvas is very rigid and durable. Only one member seems to have complained about the handle of the Book Tote showing some tiny loose threads due to the hands abrading the handles, but that was one member out of a lot of other members who said that it was very durable and still looks brand new after a lot of use.

In one of Sophie Shohet's videos, she talks about how the bag is very durable and doesn't even change its shape easily.

Has anyone experienced a Lady Dior patent leather that is sticky? I am thinking of buying one pre-loved LDM patent and the seller admitted the bag does have a slight sticky feel. Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

I usually hear of older nylon and microfiber pieces being sticky but not patent leather. Patent leather can yellow and darken over time but I haven't heard about it being sticky. Have you authenticated the bag here? https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/authenticate-this-dior.924508/

I can take a look for you and potentially suggest a solution to the stickiness if the bag is authentic.

Hello, I would really appreciate anyone's advice/suggestions. My recently purchased pre-loved Diorama has developed peeling of the hardware plating (the protective plastic sticker). This was listed in the details when I purchased the bag. It's not terribly noticeable but it does bother me some. Do you know if Dior would be able to replace this hardware? Thanks so much!

You can bring it to Dior to inquire, but since it was not purchased originally from the boutique by you, you may have to pay for the repair.

Thank you for the input! I will do that.
By the way, I meant “NOT the protective plastic sticker” in the original post, which I know you understood.
Yeah, I understood . The silver plating seems to have peeled off here, not the plastic sticker (which would not have been problematic).

Hi I would appreciate any help! I have a Dior Fur Cannage Bag- the bottom is a quilted silk nylon fabric & has started to get a little dirty from use - can anyone help on how/what would be the best way to clean it?

Try taking it to a dry cleaner that usually caters to upscale clients to see what they can do. A lot of dry cleaners will not touch a luxury bag, which is the reason for my recommendation.

You can even use a damp white cloth with a tiny bit of dish soap to see if it cleans off, but do not rub the satin (it can cause it to fray).

Thank You!! I will look into a luxury dry cleaner as I don’t want to risk anything doing it myself?

You can try yourself first. My only worry is the damp cloth potentially spreading the stains and making them duller but larger.
I know I’m so nervous trying myself & making anything worse but I’m also nervous taking it somewhere & they damage it! - I was hoping someone might have had a tried & trued ‘magic’ treatment - I read lemon essential oil works really well? But I was nervous about that as well! lol - I think someone experienced in luxury goods/bags might be my best bet! That is a great suggestion!
