Here is what my SA told me:
"Different types or different finishes of leather requires different leather lotions.

For light color bags, I don't recommend leather lotion, because it might actually darkens the color. It's best to use a clean pencil eraser to erase off the dirts or stains on light color bags, And it works wonderfully!"

Hi everyone,

I bought this bag a month ago and used it about 4times. I've noticed that the leather is peeling off!!!
its imprinted and the little circles are peeling off everywhere [emoji33]

I am so upset right now. Would saks dior take it back? Is this common with this type of leather?

This is my first dior bag and very disappointed in the quality... [emoji24]

Hi thanks for getting back to me. My bag is black so maybe I can use cream. I will get in touch with my SA. Thanks for your help!

Does the calfskin have a special finish (i.e. metallic or pearly)? If so, then don't apply any products on the leather.

Even if the calfskin does not have a special finish, you don't need to apply cream on it. The cream can get stuck in the creases or even the grain of the leather, and then dry up to form lightened spots.

Contact the Dior boutique to see what product they recommend specifically for your Be Dior. I personally would spray a water-repellent spray on the bag, but it may leave marks on lighter-colour leathers, so it's best to ask Dior first, and then test it on a spot on the bag that is hard to see.
Thanks average joe! I will contact my SA.

This may have already been covered in this thread but I have a stain on my pink Dior Trotter tote mono handbag and I have been wanting to get it cleaned but not sure what to clean it with.. also the leather handles and the piping. So what is the best way to clean the canvas?

Thanks!

I have a Lady Dior calf skin bag and matching purse that I purchased in 2008. The bag is looking a bit squashed and tired and a piece of the metal hardware that attaches the strap to the bag has become loose and keeps popping out causing the bag to drop to the floor. Do Dior offer a service where they can give your bag a bit of a makeover and freshen it up a bit? If so, what is the ballpark figure to have it done? There's no damage on the bag as such, it's just a big dull and saggy. Also, do you think they'd repair the handle free of charge? I've attached so photos so you can see what I'm talking about. I'd be grateful for any advice. Thank you.IMG_1759.jpg IMG_1762.jpg
