With the zipper opened, insert both your hands into the opening with your fingernails against each other (so the back of your hands are touching). This way, the skin on your fingers will contact the leather first, not your nails. When your fingers are inside the bag, then push against the zippers to widen the opening in order to grab something you need from inside. You'll get used to this quickly.

Hi! I have just gotten a lambskin Lady Dior in medium and was wondering if anyone could give me suggestions on best ways to store it. Is it necessary to stuff it with paper? I noticed the SA removed all the paper stuffing... When I store it in the cupboard, should I have it lying down or sitting up on the metal feet?

I store mine sitting up right. Stuff it with the tissue paper that came with the bag. Some SA like to remove the paper but I requested it to keep it in when I purchased it.

Hi Friends.

I just purchased a black Lady Dior w GHW and a red Diorissimo w CGHW.
I would like your advice please! I'm excited to start using it, but I'm wondering if I should apply some protective product on it before using it?
(LV users recommend Lovin My Bags on their LV vachetta, so was wondering if Dior has an equivalent to LMB? )

I also noticed that my brand new LD lambskin is not as shiny as some pictures I see on this forum. Is this normal please? Does it shine w more use?

I do not recommend applying any product to your bags. Certain products can darken the leather. For the best advice, call a Dior sales associate and ask them to provide some tips on protection over the phone.

Leathers become more shiny over time due to the fact that they develop a patina.

When I got my Gaucho bag repaired because on the the fasteners came off, they separated the lining from the bag, put a new fastener in, and resealed the lining so I couldn't even tell the bag was ever fixed. Don't know why they can't do it with the Miss Dior.

Sorry, I have been so busy this summer and didn't see your response until now. Thank you so much for responding averagejoe! If I have time, I may bring it to NYC boutique to see if they can restitch it. I've been using the bag and I don't think it really need to be repaired. I hope the stitches are there just to maintain the shape of the bag.

It doesn't really need repairing, because it's to maintain the shape (to keep the side pulled inward). But if you bring it to the East 57th St. boutique, then they can definitely help you with that.

As some of you know, I have recently purchased an open bar bag in beige and I absolutely love using it.

I am very protective of my bag and with it being such a light colour. My concern is with the inside of the bag and whether or not it is prone to colour transfer. With the inside being taurillion(spelling?)/bullcalf leather, it is known to be durable, but however colour transfer will always be an issue with darker onto light colours.

So my question is for the people who own lighter colour bags with similar colour interiors, do you worry about colour transfer inside? Would I have to buy something in similar quality to ensure that there is no colour transfer? I've only owned Miu Miu/Chloe bags and they have satin or something rather to protect the insides, so its not really an issue. With the open bar, it's just the leather itself.

Any feedback would be appreciated :).

Hi. How do you guys store your diorissimo bags?? If i stuff it and put it upright it bends down on the front from the wieght of the charms.. so ive been just stuffing it and laying it on the back.... ive just picked up another one used and was just wondering how i am supposed to store these bags?? Laying them on the back takes up too much space i have to say and it looks weird.. i know i am weird but i like to have my bags look really organized in my closet and these bags.. i just donno how to store them nicely:) share please and thank u

You can insert cardboard into the bag to keep the sides upright, but the cardboard has to fit kind of snug. And if the leather has softened significantly already, then maybe the cardboard won't help either.

You can lay the bag on its back in a big cardboard box, and then put other bags on top of the box when it is closed, so that you can make use of more closet space. All of my bags are in boxes (some upright, some lying on their backs) and I stack the boxes like a puzzle in my closet.

Hey guys how do you guys deal with peeling sealant? I would want to send it in for repairs but because the bag is brand new, I'm not sure if I should send it in so early as it's only around 3mm peeling off right now. Unfortunately I didn't notice this peeling in store when I bought it today so I'm not sure what to do right now. Any advice is appreciated:)
