Thank you :amuse:, I think it at least looks a little better than the stain!

On the inside of your Bayswater, I don’t know if this helps but I started by dry brushing the whole inside of the bag with a suede brush and made sure to give it a good empty before I put a little of the Collinil cleaning foam onto the bush and worked it in in small areas before letting it dry and then brushing in different directions to bring back the “fuzzy feel”? I’m now pleased with how the inside looks but the outside is quite sad, your cleaner is currently in my Amazon basket haha! Xx

Fab idea - I will dry brush and go to Amazon now to order some of that - thank-you for the tips xxx

I forgot to say that ink - believe me I have tried and failed many times. This is the lady to send your ink/biro pen marks to Clare at The Handbag Restoration Company - she's on Facebook - take a look at her AMAZING before and after pics xxx she's got 2 of mine at the moment for ink - soon to be getting another one as well
I can’t even with those before and afters! I bet they’re going to look fab when they come back!

Can anyone recommend a leather cleaner for my Bayswater in Dark blush? The bottom of the bag has some dirt marks I just can’t get out with the collonil leather gel cleaner. I can’t find a leather product that matches the colour of the bag well :-(

Hi all, I recently got a soft buffalo Alexa for a bit of a steal as it needs some work, which is fine as I wanted a project bag. I had a lot of luck with Leather Honey on a vintage Balenciaga so I’m going to try it on this, and I’ve got a kit to try and fix a tiny bit of exposed piping (doing this on a budget!). At some point I’d like to send it off to Mulberry to replace the plaque, but the turnaround time is quite long and I’d like to use it for a bit first as I’ve wanted one for years. Does anyone have any tips for making it look a bit better in the meantime? I’ve not had to do anything to my Bayswater plaques before!

Hello!
I've got a second hand bayswater in black soft grain, but the corners are a bit worn and the black colour faded on them. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for restoring the colour?
Thank you!
Hi, Collonil leather cream in black might restore it, I've used it on other Mulberry leathers for minor scuffs and it works pretty well and not too pricey

Hi, have you looked at a protector from Handbag Haven? It's a clear plastic self adhesive film in the right size/shape. They usually minimise the look of minor scratches and will obviously stop it getting more scratched

Oh, that’s a fantastic idea, thank you! I just got an insert from Handbag Angels and that’s transformed the shape, definitely sounds like the protector is worth a shot. Thank you so much!

Hi,
This is my first post so if I'm doing this incorrectly, apologies, please let me know how to ask questions in the right way :0). I have a tan Holly bag. Its a mixture of tan leather and a silky type fabric on the outside. Its in good condition but the fabric part has got grubby. I'd be grateful for any advice re how to spruce it up myself or a reasonably priced professional cleaner in the UK. I have heard that some of the more famous handbag clinic/spas can charge a £100s, more than the bag is probably worth. I like the bag so I'd like to give it a face lift.
Thanks in anticipation.

I have serveral Mulberry bags in NVT leather. I use the Collonil Wax to care for it but I am not sure, if the leather gel would be better. Can someone explain the difference between the leather gel and the wax in comparison? PS: I use the Collonil Carbon spray after the wax cream.

I just bought a preloved oak Ledbury and it was otherwise in great condition but it felt dry. It has only been used a few times and it looks like it’s been sitting in it’s dustbag for quite sometime.

Anyways, I decided to give it some TLC and used Collonil leather gel to give it some nourishment. It really felt like it was superthirsty, especially the bottom. I used the same amount of gel as before on my other bags.

At first I was scared because the leather got much darker but now that it’s dry, the color is lighter again, maybe just a little richer tone. BUT, the bottom part feels a bit sticky? Or not sticky but rather like it’s matte or not as smooth as the rest of the bag. I’ve tried to buff it out with a soft cloth, and it did help a bit. It’s been 12 hours so it should be dry.

What should I do? Has anyone experienced something like this?
