Just a mild organic detergent and I used Leather CPR cleaner/conditioner as its all I had. What did you use to wash it? It’s an amazing transformation.
Amazing! It doesn’t even look like the same bag!The bag is finished mostly. Still have a piece on the handle to repair and she has a littel drying to do.
Leather a little stiff but this will soften up as I use it.
So pleased with the results and the size is wonderful.

It’s inevitable, sadly. Mulberry repairs can change the lock plate if it’s bad enough to bother you - last time I had an Alexa done it was £30+ VATAny tips on how to protect the hardware from scratching? I’ m really not used to babying my bags, but on this bag it gets to me when the hw is scratched! It seems impossible to avoid?
Hi, not sure where you're based but company called Havre Deluxe in UK sell hardware protectors, I've got them for Mulberry bags and they're good

It’s funny how it shows more on the shiny hardware. My buffalo Alexa has the shiny gold hardware and the wear on it was really obvious, much older bays has brass hardware and scratches aren’t really noticeable unless you look closely.I ordered from Havre, they ship outside of the UK. I really usually don’t mind wear on my bags or the hardware, but this is the only one I have with the shiny hw, and that was different.
Thanks for the tips!
