Ooooo, never seen this 1909 before... It's says it is for 'finest leather' and she certainly is that! :D

Thanks for the advice, I was leaning towards the gel first so it's good to get a second opinion the same :smile1:
I use the 1909 on my very delicate lambskin bags (Mulberry, Chanel & Dior) and have had no issues at all.
You can buy from Amazon, fleabay etc, but the cheapest I've found was here as they offer free post in the UK:

Hi. I've just bought a green Rosemary (?) from a local charity shop. They told me it had been authenticated but I'm still unsure about it. Regardless, it could use some TLC and I'd also like to darken the colour.

I'm a horse-rider and usually use Ko-Cho-Line leather dressing on all my leather - boots, bridle, saddle, etc. - fab stuff. Currently, plucking up the courage to use it on the bag. Has anyone else ever tried it?

Hi everyone. Still getting to grips with this forum, apologies if i'm posting on the wrong thing! I have a question about protecting my Mulberry against the elements...living in Scotland there are many!!
Recently bought a Bayswater in Oak. I was recommended to buy the Collonil Leather Gel and Water Stop Spray.
But before I set about trying a small patch of the bag, ( as i'm feeling very protective about my new buy) i'm unsure of how best to use these products. Both? One at a time? One better than the other?
I've just been reading some horror stories of the spray, any advice would be hugely appreciated!
Thanks!

Hi Maddie,
I'm very new to here too - so we can wing it together :D

Just last week end I eventually protected my Oak Del Rey - been sat in her dustbag until I got around to it - would not take out without doing so - especially an Oak.

I used the collonil leather gel first all over using a cotton wool ball - left for a little while to penetrate and then a dusting cloth to polish off.
Then I immediately took outside and gave a good dousing with the waterstop spray as per the instructions - at a distance mind.

And she's perfect

Best wishes Julie x

Just as Mulberrynewgirl advises.

Hope you're enjoying your new bag? :smile1:

Not a product I've used personally. Try a very small amount applied with a cotton bud in an inconspicuous area first. Feel free to post some before and after photographs if you have time....

Hi!
I have a stain on my bayswater in oak. The stain comes from my jeans and I was wondering if Mulberry can help with that kind of problem? Read that they have a repair service, but it didn't say whether or not they can help with cleaning of the bag. :/

Thanks in advance!

Sincerely,
Catinhat

Anybody got tips for removing pen marks and general dark stains from Darwin oak leather,
Many thanks

Hello Both,

If you scroll back through this thread you will find several posts similar to your queries on how to remove pen and denim transfer, with lots of members sharing their methods of cleaning and removal.
Mulberry don't offer a spa service like Chanel or Dior, but there are other companies discussed within the thread, which offer bag cleaning services.
Hope this helps?

Hi, does anyone know how to clean suede ????
I've just got my heavy suede tassel alexa out of hibernation for the winter and she looks like she could do with a good clean - a little bit of colour transfer, but generally just grubby and in need of a freshen up !!!
Any advice would be really appreciated.
Thanks ....... xxx

Hi Shae,

I found this on cleaning suede shoes:
http://www.topcleaningsecrets.com/house/how-to-clean-suede-shoes.html
It really depends on what type of marks you have on the bag, if it's a general spruce up then probably a good brush will give it a new lease of life. If you have dirt or stains, then you could either try products such as Furniture Clinic suede cleaner or similar or send it to be professionally cleaned. Mulberry unfortunately don't offer a spa service, but there are recommendations by members further back in this thread.
Hope that helps?
