I bought some new glasses and the case has left marks inside my Bayswater. See pics. Does anyone know how I can get these marks out of the suede? If I need to send it away to be cleaned, shall I contact the glasses manufacturer to get them to pay? I don't think it's on that their cases bleed colour when they scrape on things :(

I have some dark spots on my Mulberry - don't know where I got it from, must have grazed something...

Any ideas on how to get rid of them? They are very faint and not recognisable if I don't really point it out... but still frustrating to me!!!

It's new & I have yet to use the spray they recommended - do you think that could help?

Don't spray! It would fix the spots for all times, I guess. I would try to remove them with the classic gel.

I would try to remove the marks on the smooth leather pocket with the classic gel. Isn't there a special eraser for marks on suede? On the Collonil Site it's called Nubuk Box Classic Moss rubber sponge. Or you could try a suede leather brush first.

Hi ladies, I'm new to Mulberry but founded a beautiful bag yesterday at an estate sale. The interior however was filthy, not damaged, just grimy with evident spills. The exterior was lovely. Is it possible to have it cleaned or worth tackling on my own?

Hello all, advice requested please. I have a much loved (but also much used and abused) Brynmore. I bought it second hand years ago and assume it was a khaki/Olive Green originally, it since has darkened to an almost brown colour in places. I've used it for work daily and it now definitely needs some TLC. In your opinion what is the best leather cleaner to use? I know Coloinol leather gel is the treatment of choice but will it clean as well as water proof? I'm not expecting miracles but I would love it to look less tired and the leather to be a bit more supple. Is there a combination of cleaners etc I should use? I'm too embarrassed to send it to Mulberry in the state it's in, although it could do with the edges re coated (or whatever the term is) I'd be grateful for any pointers.

I just wondered how everyone cared for their mulberry bags?

If anyone preferred using the gel rather then the spray?

I usually take my bags out every so often and give them just a light spray, however when i bought my Silky Snake Alexa i noticed the leather had little bits that were starting to stick up/ curl up and so i asked a SA at Mulberry what they would recommend

I was told the gel would be best used on Silky snake as it may act as a sort of glue and so i have used the gel since and it worked...so i am pretty happy with the result!

I also turn my dust bags inside out and use them to polish the bag over when i use the gel and it does a really good job!

Anyone else want to share?....

Hi all I know this would have been asked before but I going to ask again.....
I have sprayed all my bags with the water-spray when I first get them. I also brought the gel from the mulberry website.

However I have no idea when I should start to use the gel??? How offend should I do it and when do you know it's the right time. I've had my delrey since the beginning of jan so nearly 6 months. Should I be using the gel now?? Also should you use if more offend on light colours?. What the best way , is it to use a cloth with the gel on??

Thanks for helping :smile1:

I always give mine a good couple of coats of Collonil, with a buff in between each spray, before I use a bag for the first time. After that, they get a periodic spray as needed. I, too, use the gel on the silky snake Lexies, as it does condition the leather well and helps to prevent the scales "lifting".

I like the idea of polishing with the interior of the dust bag, btw!! ;)

I very recently got my first Bayswater, and LOVE carrying her!
But I'm a bit worried that the handles will get dirty(I have a ballet pink bag).
I tried the twillies from Hermès on my Bayswater because they worked so well on my Hermès bags, but not as well on the Bayswater because the handles of the Bays are longer.
How do you take care of the dirt marks on your Bays? Does Mulberry sell twilly like scarves?

I always treat with Collonil as recommended by Mulberry and have never had any problems. I've always found the handles fairly robust on Mulberry and they stay looking good:D

I do the same. I collonil mine before the first wear, then inspect them before they get packed away (I rotate mine regularly). If they need a clean, I rub them done with some collonil gel.
