Hi All,
I recently bought a Bryn in flame and love it!! The strap however is a bit long and I would love to put some extra holes in it so that I can have it a bit higher....do you know any where that will do this for me? I don't want to send it to mulberry I was hoping some one might know if Selfridges or similar have a department for that kind of thing?! Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Just wanted to comment on your gorgeous bag lovely colour, a shoe maker or good repair shop might do that. If you have an old belt get them to put a hole in it see what you think then.

My hubby bought me my first Mulberry, (a small Bayswater satchel in Oak), at Harrod's over the holidays. So far, I have used only Collonil cream and waterstop spray to protect the exterior.

I did want to share a great way I've discovered to keep its interior organized and protected from spills and stains. I bought the "In and Out Bag" by Tintamar.

I bought mine at the BHV in Paris; however they also have a website. It's the most well-constructed bag organizer I've used, and it has loads of great pockets. The nylon keeps my bags safe from spills. It fits beautifully inside the small Bays, and I'm road testing it in my new-to-me Jerome Dreyfuss Billy this week :-).

Hi ladies,

I just acquired a flame silky snakeskin Del Rey (thrilled). However, I am not sure what I should use to protect it. I've become quite fond of the Mulberry line, and collecting them as I did my LV's. I have Collonil spray. Should I use that? I do remember reading somewhere about the scales lifting :/ I do not want that to happen, nor a color change. It's pre loved and does have a slight dark area. Thanks for your advice :)

Hi, I know about the Collonil spray and gel is good for treating the leather to prevent water stains and dirt, but was wondering if any of you ladies would wipe the bag if there was some dirt or that it was caught in the rain? I was wondering what you would use to wipe and clean it before treating it with the spray/gel?

My oak alexa has a scratch on the front buckle straps of the bag, it looks like its peeling, any way to fix this?

I rescued this Mulberry Mitzy for barely any money in hopes of saving it, despite the weird mark on it. Any suggestions for cleaning? Would it be even possible to dye the leather black or is that a horrifying option I shouldn't even be thinking, let alone considering?

Just purchased my wife a black os alexa in soft buffalo and was wondering the best way to treat it. I am looking at purchasing the leather gel and waterstop spray or is this overkill as both seem to do the same job. Would the leather gel be enough.

I normally spray first ...two light coats letting it,dry,in between so it is well waterproofed..... And then use the gel later on to re nourish the leather....however the gel is meant to do both and particularly for a black bag should be ok on it's own.....if it was oak I'd recommend both products

A newbie here have just bought an alexa in soft calf fur print, was just wondering the best way to look after this leather... Think it is like the oak Taylor in oak from what I have worked out.
Thanks in advance

I realise this is quite a while ago and don't know if you've sorted this bag? Is it a white patent?
I know this sounds really strange but hairspray on white patent leather works a treat, it just seems to lift the mark out. Word of warning though - use only on patent leather, it worked so well on a white patent bag of my daughters that I got carried away and tried it on a leather mulberry :nono: I actually cried.....

I need to get some Collonill spray but none of the shops on the island stock Collonill. I could order it over the internet but I think there will be a issue with the postage. Are there any other brands that would be suitable? We have Woly products and a Jones the Bootmaker store.
