Hi all, I have a water stop on my oak antony, after drying it it now looks like a dirty mark, I know the oak will darken with time but is there anything I can do in the meantime??

I'd condition the whole bag carefully, to nourish it and help the water damage blend in. The furniture clinic do a good cleaner and protector, which a few ladies here have used to good effect.

Hi all Mulberry lovers,

I just bought a pre-loved Mulberry Rio Butterfly Bayswater in Oak. She is in pristine condition. However, there is a faint fold line on the left of the postman lock.

Can anyone advise me how to make the fold line disappear or less visible? Many thanks in advance.

A lot of leathers have naturally occurring marks and folds that were in the hide of the animal before it got to the bag-making stage! This looks rather like one of those. Or it could be a fold in the leather from the early tanning/drying stage. It might drop/fade over time but sometimes the marks really are just unique to the hide and are a permanent feature. This is what sets real leather apart from uniform, "perfect" (ie fake leather!) bags!! Enjoy your unique bag!! :D

As some of you know I received a Mulberry Phoebe in chocolate for Christmas. I took her out for the first time yesterday.

When I got out of the car I noticed the handles had left marks on jeans where the inking should be.

How would I go about getting the inking repaired? Is there a method of doing it yourself?

Ok I used the celotape again and the mark has reduced back to original size and depth but still very noticeable as its right on the front. I would really like to reduce it or get rid of it All together. I would be very grateful for any tips. I love & cherish all my bags so I am gutted that this has happened, pls help if you can I am panicking

Thank you so much,
Happy New Year to all

I also used a light tan shoe polish on the corners of my oak bag and its worked a treat! This forum is brilliant for cleaning tips. I have also now managed to 'scratch' most of the pen mark off and have then polished over it its much improved.

My collection is: blk bayswater, oak Roxanne, oak Roxanne tote, oak Antony, blue Antony and choc Annie. Favourite leather Oak pebbled love it x

Has anyone noticed a change in the leather when applying the collonil gel? I'm scared it may change the color/texture of my bag when I apply it. lol.

It depends on the leather - what's your bag? Generally, the shinier or darker the leather, the less likely it is to change the colour. For example it'll not make much of a difference to black pebbled leather, but might darken oak NVT.

I tend to bite the bullet and use whatever's necessary to protect or condition my bag (to extend its life in the long run) but others may disagree.

It's soft nappa. I guess I'm just going to suck it up and do it. I've been putting off purchasing it because I'm scared to do it!

I was just wondering if anyone had any tips for removing a colour transfer mark from my jeans on my deer brown regular size Taylor...thankfully it's only the reverse but still it annoys me! Would a leather gel work or maybe some sort of cleaning wipes? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :-)

I had a transfer dye mark from a new pair of dark blue jeans on my oak Antony. It came off with soap and water - but wring the cloth out well and don't rub the leather, just a light wipe. It will darken the leather until it dries out. I have also used celotape on a smaller blue mark and then buffed the leather. Worked for me !!

I have no idea where to place this question and can't start a new thread as I've only just registered here, so I'm hoping someone can help.

I need to contact the Mulberry repair team but don't know what the correct terminology is for my problem. My sister borrowed my Alexa and when I got it back, the metal protector bit at the bottom of the front satchel straps was missing! She said it must've fallen off and she didn't notice :( (How that can happen!) Does this have a name?

It looks so naked with one missing :( Any help is much appreciated
