I just bought a Mulberry Taylor satchel in black. I did buy the collonil waterstop spray as recommended on the Mulberry website. Does anyone know how heavy handed I should be with the spray? Has anyone used it on a Taylor satchel! Thanks all!

i know this is an old thread but i thought I'd share with you a conversation i had with the Mulberry SA at selfridges ( London). apparently if there is a water stain on your darwin leather if you bend and kind of squeeze the leather it will help disperse the water and improve the appearance of the stain!!! I've never tried it so have no idea if it works!
I have four mulberrys but this is the first one I have bought myself and used it today and got caught in the rain, but thanks to that handy tip from selfridges all water marks have gone! Thanks!

I'm confused about how to care for my soft nappa leather. Do I use the Lack Polish or the Leather Gel? :shrugs:

These are the leathers Mulberry recommend using lack polish on...

"Collonil Lack Polish is a gentle leather treatment to help increase resistance to dirt and moisture. Comes with a built in sponge applicator. This Lack Polish can be used on: Patent Leather; Drummed Patent; Creased Patent; Glossy Ostrich; Spongy Patent; High Pebbled Patent; Light Patent Leather; Python; and Wrinkled Patent."

For gel they recommend...

"Collonil Leather Gel is a solvent-free gentle gel to improve the water resistance of certain leathers. It can help leather to resist dirt and moisture. This leather gel can be used on: Natural Leather; Printed Leather; Pebbled Leather; Soft Spongy Leather; Glazed Goat; Soft Buffalo; Glossy Buffalo; Glossy Goat; Spongy Pebbled; Soft Calf; Nappa; and Reverse Croc Print."

On the Mulberry web site, if you look at the bottom of the page, click Customer Services then Product Care and Advice. Running along the botton are images of all types of leather and information on how to care for them. Click on your type and it will tell you ( unless of course your leather isnt there).

Hi all Mulberry lovers,

I just bought a pre-loved Mulberry Rio Butterfly Bayswater in Oak. She is in pristine condition. However, there is a faint fold line on the left of the postman lock.

Can anyone advise me how to make the fold line disappear or less visible? Many thanks in advance.

Hi all, I have a water stop on my oak antony, after drying it it now looks like a dirty mark, I know the oak will darken with time but is there anything I can do in the meantime??

O M G !! What have I done ? I tried the celotape on the biro mark and that didn't work and the. Tried the acetone nail varnish remover on a cotton bud and I could cry coz that has made what was a thin blue line wider and darker. Please please help me !
