I bought my first Mulberry a few months ago (I will upload a photo later today). I bought a black sparkle tweed bayswater with pale gold hardware. It's such a delicate bag and I was warned by the sales assistant that the sparkle tweed would rub off and while it didn't put me off buying it, I am quite anxious about using my Bayswater too often. Has anyone else had a similar experience with their Mulberry?

I'm completely in love with Bayswaters and I hope that my next purchase will be a sturdier leather! It seems a shame to buy such a gorgeous bag and then be too afraid to take it out!

Hope someone can offer some advice! I haven't used my roxy a4 tote in almost two years and when I got it out of the dustbag it had a really big watermark on the bottom/back. Must have gotten it on there the last time I used it and not checked. Now its time for the bag to move on, but can something be done with the watermarks?
Its in lipstick pink antique lightweight leather. Any tips?

Oh no :tdown::sad:
Thankyou for replying, really gutted. I suppose the only good thing is its not noticeable to the normal person... Only bcos I know it's there.

Have you asked a Mulberry store to clean it for you? When I bought a Mulberry in NYC several years ago, I was told there was a lifetime warranty and that I could bring it in at any time for cleaning/restoration. A few months later, I carelessly left it sitting on the kitchen counter, where it got Thai green curry splashed onto it. I initially freaked, but I took it back to the store and they didn't blink -- a couple weeks later, it came back to me as good as new.

My Mulberry is the most expensive handbag I own, and it's frankly the level of assurance they give that made me willing to pay so much for it.

Hi
Thanks so much for replying :smile1: as silly as it sounds I've never thought to take it back to a melberry store, as it happened after its one year warranty I figured there wouldn't be anything they would do.

I will pop into my nearest M.. Fingers crossed they can help like they did you! It's very true. The most expensive accessory I own and I haven't thought to try asking the place I bought it from!!!!

I bought first Mulberry in Amsterdam. It's lovely small bayswater in oak. I liked it a lot cos it's big and versatile.. It basically goes with any colors, clothes, dress, jeans.. anything... office or weekend bag..,

BUT after using it just a month,. the back corners have become scuffed and the color came off!! I brought it back to Mulberry. They are very helpful and suggested to ship it to UK for their comments... They kindly agreed to give me a new piece. I'm now waiting for it to be shipped to Singapore.

I was very disappointed over the quality of the bag.. I'm worried that it will turn out the same.. Is it common? Do any of you have the same problems? I didn't put any waterproof spray or cream on the bag. Is that why?

Hi just noticed that my sbs in birds nest is showing some scuff marks on the corners and on the handles, I assume this has happened when I've worn the bag across the body and has rubbed on my jeans/ jacket. Just wondered if anyone has used shoe cream to touch up the scuffs and if so what colour best matches birds nest? Ive been looking at the woly cream in taupe on eBay, any thoughts anyone ??

Hi, I bought a light coloured brooke off ebay a wee while back knowing that there was a slight mark on the top. I tried to clean it which made it worse. I have applied collonil waterstop and various other potions. Any clues?

Have just bough a soft spongy black Lilly and was wondering if I should use the collonil waterstop gel OR aerosol spray?? On my watermelon OS Alexa and oak Bays I used the gel as the leathers both seemed flatter in shine quality and I was happy with the results using the gel. However I feel the black leather on my Lilly is much more shiny and wondered if using the spray would be better. Any help or experience warmly welcomed :) thanks x
