Has anyone seen or tried this dress ? I’m obsessed w it even thought it’s prob short on me and I don’t like t necks. Lol.

I asked my sa about those pants. He said they sold out pretty quickly at least at neimans.

Hello everyone! I stopped by my boutique but most of the pieces I had requested had not yet arrived.
costa, I ordered both the black jacket with the sparkle buttons and the grey plaid trousers. I had not thought to wear them together but after seeing your pic, I love the look! I am short and ordered the pants on a whim thinking they would overwhelm me in pattern
(I am just 5' 4") but my excellent seamstress will make it work I hope. Thanks so much for the inspiration.
I tried on this black blouse - very pretty but unsure how much I would wear it. I have nothing else to show as I am still awaiting my

Love the shape of the cardi on your frame. How did it go with your hair and complexion? I picture it on a raven haired lady, not sure it will work for my coloring.

Thank you Karenaellen, the cardigan is very comfortable on! I would describe the cardigan IRL as a beautiful butterscotch color and when I tried it my SA and several customers in the boutique commented how lovely it looked on. I am a very fair skinned (NEVER go out in the sun) and highlighted blonde and the color was very flattering with my hair. What stopped me was the price (almost same $$ as a simple jacket) and not sure I really needed another long cardigan. But mostly I decided I will stick to just a few pieces from this collection that I requested because Cruise is calling me in a major way. I know it is going to be brutal and I am saving my pennies toward what I know will be a collection that will cause my AmEx to scream in pain!

I liked the black shirt on you too Sb ! And the butterscotch is so comfortable and wearable. And goes over joggers. Agree the price is crazy !!! Cruise will be amazing for sure. I’m eagerly waiting to try the pink skirt !

GK, I am so sorry to hear that your store is deteriorating. I am fortunate to live literally minutes away from a full boutique but I will not step foot in it for the reasons similar to what you had described. This boutique is staffed with high pressure selling tactic young associates. I chose instead to shop at a NM in the same mall that offers me outstanding service and no attitude. I understand how frustrated you must be and I am so sorry because I know you love this brand like I do!!

P, this color butterscotch I think is best suited to someone with dark hair (hmm...like you). The contrast will be excellent. The style of this piece is really you and I know you are getting CHF big time over this piece. Something tells me this one will end up in your collection....
You know how I feel about pink and between Cruise and Spring there is pink and there is some GORGEOUS black and white tweed and, well there is just a ridiculous amount I love. The pink and black jacket can't get into my closet fast enough lol!

Yes! I tried this cardigan and posted it somewhere in this thread and that’s exactly why I didn’t like it on me. I saw both colors for this cardigan and the butterscotch was prettier so it was the one I chose to try on but it just made me look jaundiced

@880 you always have great ideas for styling, what are your ideas for the long black tunic snowball modeled? I tried the light blue version which was very pretty but apart from wearing it with my uniform skinny jeans, I was stumped.

The NM Chanel boutique was closed unfortunately. They pulled it from the store along with the bags. The SA there were wonderful, honest and had helpful advice. The Nordstrom is across the same very large shopping mall. I am hoping that Chanel will put in a boutique in the new addition that is being built. I know that Hermes has signed a lease.

Omg Hermes ! They are popping up everywhere, sigh my local store closed a while ago. Wish they’d come back. Maybe. Lol.

My Nordstom boutique has gotten weird since they were taken over by Chanel. They have this sweater on display, but apparently nobody can touch or try it on until December. They brought in new people from the east coast to run the boutique. Lots of new rules. I think they’re trying to create a sense of exclusivity and scarcity, but it’s just a turn off for me. Not in keeping with the laid back, inclusive west coast ethos.

Ugh - exactly what happened when Hermès built their boutique in Seattle - not right away (the first manager was amazing), but they eventually mishandled their longtime Seattle clientele. Big big turnoff.

It’s basically a tunic top, so
color: Black (okay, not black, too waiter like) , navy, white, beige, taupe, olive

styles Cargo pants, cigarette pants, classic trousers, cropped loose pants; denim joggers; loose pajama pants (Turnbull and Asser makes some as does Dior) (brunello does a bunch of pants),

short skirts; long skirts either full like Dior or slim, but I think maybe a swing skirt or if you wanted to be a femme fatale, a dolce and gabbana bias cut ;

leggings (wolford makes some pleather ones) or vuori joggers lol

shoes: classic two tone ballet flats; all black designer collaboration Birkenstock’s, elastic leather stiletto boots (Manolo, Rossi), H flat sandals

The tunic would be cute over some tights I think ! it’s worn on the runway under the grey cardi and over the skirt too.

as @pigleto972001 suggests but with chunkier boot, shoe boot or somethingo ground the tunic.

or (whispers) with shorts or over a bathing suit (i mix blue and black, so blue camo Dior shorts or black or beige moncler shorts) and a white sneaker. I wear birkenstock sneakers Or golden goose

I still buy designer shoes, but with designer RTW, I think a contemporary shoe or cheaper something, brings the look down to earth. Of course YMMV

hereare brunello pants that could work: beige twill cargos, brunello grey linen pants; and, olive high waisted pants; plus a pair of moncler shorts, all of which I wear with chanel tops to tone the chanel brand down. the pants and wolford hoodie are this season.

Yes you are right ... I found some lovely posts from style_in_snapshotes, M_ichele and Ms Piggy. They look very chic when worn. I suspect I might have to have a whole lot taken off from them too. Were they a sold out item from SS21 or do you think they might still be stashed away in a store somewhere?

These pants are fantastic and so comfortable but were very hard to find. I was also told by my neiman Marcus that they sold out and I had been on the list at my boutique but wasn’t at the top. Luckily they were passed on so I got my shot.

m_ichele, I think the black tunic would be great with jeans like you suggested and leggings. It can be worn open as a jacket too, I was watching the Spring show and I am pretty sure VV wore it that way with black jeans when she took her bow
