Thanks Nicole ! I have one of the puffers from that season. The one w the red thread that looks like the chain :) I got a 38 which is a size down and it’s very roomy. I would suggest a size down. I still have room for sweaters. The other one in your pic I think larkie has it on Instagram and she’s very nice if you decide to message her.
I have the other style from this collection and yes, it’s roomy, I got my usual size.

I hear you. I was literally talking about the same thing with my gf yesterday.
Our work environment is casual, but I've got a reputation to be "dressed up" (by their standard), so I just dress to please myself. My son was asking why girls liked to look at mirrors all the time the other day, and I said, well, it makes us happy, so we do it...we are girls!
So you can wear your lesage jackets anywhere. drop off, pick up, parent coffee/dinner/social, etc. My only rule is not to buy pricey white garments because of my young boys (there were many times when I had to change my shirt last minute due to Nutella incidents). Buy whatever that makes your heart sing ;)

Talking about ladies with little mes who are self conscious of who we were, are, or want to look like, any garment, skincare, activity engaged, hobby load up as a full package of how we see or present ourselves. Even though I have to adapt to the remote working mode, I find appropriately dressed lifts the spirit of work and helps work done more efficiently in less comfortable career attire. Some jackets help to remind me to maintain my back straight and keep up my head high.

Your comments remind me of the scene of Sex and the City where Charlotte wears a cream Valentino skirt doing kitchen work and Lily put her red hands print on it. Charlotte shrieked "My cream Valentino! This skirt is vintage!"

Reality is that, whenever I saw my Kelly bag stepped by my little one in the car years ago, it brought sweet memories, so as many ruined staff at home. If no damages done, then less things go or new in ...

Runs large, take your normal size and there will be enough room for sweaters.

We always speak of Lesage, but has anyone heard of Linton tweed? When I look at some of their swatches online, I recognize recent Chanel collections. . .

"Initially Linton employed two salesmen with ponies and traps who travelled the Lake District buying wool and selling woollen suit lengths. William Linton’s great friend, Captain Molyneux, was a Parisian couturier who in the 1920s introduced him to a dynamic young lady called Coco Chanel. This began an association which has flourished over the years resulting in the house of Chanel being Linton’s biggest and most prestigious customer."

Fascinating! Thank you, @Karenaellen.
Also, I wonder if this is how some super-fake jackets end up being created... that is, if the same fabric can just be bought by anyone...

Their prices really put into perspective how insane Chanel’s pricing is, especially when they’re very likely getting their fabrics at bulk discounts.

Do you have any specific examples?
I found the price lower than expected. When I made my made to measure suits, dormeuil wool fabric was $200/yard. How can fancy tweeds be only $50 per yard?
