I got it and love it. For many who are concerned of its seemingly exaggerating shoulder and/or super shiny texture, I would say that they are reasonable. The shoulder is more of a relaxed fit but fairly reasonable. The texture/color turns to be nice not very shiny either. The metallic threads are not overwhelming in my opinion and only add a little relaxed feel than a classic black jacket.

Please bear my denim short as it's still hot in California. I took a close up picture to show the texture/color/shoulder area.

Thank you very much. It's better than I expected. I think it's a very versatile piece and if someone prefers more classic look, simple alterations will do.

I was a little hesitant because of the buttons but it looks so cute! Can I ask the price?

It's not heavy and very comfortable, similar to weight of the sequined jacket, but a much tighter tweed which is nice and lighter than the black tweed jacket with burgundy trims of metiers collection.

I was a little hesitant because of the buttons but it looks so cute! Can I ask the price?

It looks very warm. I have a tweed dress from the Rome collection that I had made into a jacket because it was just too hot to wear as a dress.

At Borgo San Felice, outside of Siena, in a cotton chanel 2021 cardigan with Dior t shirt, and 2020 Dior sweats and tie dye jacket, valentino collaboration camo Birkenstock’s. I wear the chanel cardigan and Dior sweats for dinners, plane rides or lounging. Both are really versatile, so great cost per wear. VCA GMOP six motif necklace and. a pg diamond Bulgari serpenti ring work as travel pieces.

Let's see...I do agree that many would make you look older, but there are other styles that can work very well with a pair of well fitted jeans. I think the styling makes a difference. I always enjoy looking at Karl's runway show pictures because the old man (RIP) had a way to style things and make most people look ten years younger.

If there is a jacket you like but are concerned about the looks, perhaps post here so we can brainstorm styling techniques?

Thank you so much. The only other Chanel jacket I have is the 20A houndstooth rainbow jacket in a wool/silk which I haven’t worn at all. I do want to add a lesage one to my collection given all the reviews I’ve read here… maybe in black as classic. I saw one in the last collection with the red trims. But once again wasn’t sure if it would look old? When I first saw it I didn’t know it was lesage until I read this thread, given the rainbow houndstooth I have (which wasn’t lesage) was actually more expensive (not sure why given it’s just wool?).

I don’t have any need for these jackets given COVID so just collecting for the sake of it. I can wait for future collections too. I have young children and I don’t get out much other than school runs and beaches/parks etc nowadays and I don’t have a need to “dress for work”. My school run fashion have mums who wear a new Chanel jacket every day to influencers with their own yoga channels (activewear) and celebs who are in jeans and tshirts.

If any ladies here have a good recommendation on any lesage jackets they’ve seen recently please let me know

Hi ladies, I was wondering if anyone has this puffer coat or perhaps tried it on. It is from 2018, and I have been searching for it in the preloved market. I usually wear a size 34 to 36 in Chanel, more so 36 in jackets. If I am planning to wear the puffer coat over sweaters and perhaps jackets should I look for a size 36 or try and find a 38? I have never tried on any of Chanel puffer style coats so not sure what the sizing would be like, it is generous enough to layer? etc. Thanks so much.
