Stormy- should I get the leather magic UV protectant for my Concorde Dylan? I already sprayed with the Wilson. If the answer is yes, where do I get it? There's no buying option on their website.
Thanks.

Aloha, kaimana -- you can order it here:
http://store.leathermagic.com/uvprotectant.aspx

But might prefer to order a kit (contains products Stormy has recommended for unwashed leather):

The description in the kit refers to a "UV Absorbant" but I'm pretty sure it's the protectant. You may want to call them.

Hi guys,
I have Dylan large bowler bag in coral.
I used this bag for a while without any protection. the color is getting darker.
so, I decided to buy TLC spray. but before I spray it how to clean the dirty spots?

Always clean before applying products to protect or condition.
First, use a dry clean terrycloth to remove dust and loose dirt. A white eraser can be be gently used on small spots. For general cleansing: Dilute a liquid vegetable-based soap 10 parts H2O to one part soap. Dampen a clean textured cloth and wipe the bag softly. Rinse the soap with plain water dampened smooth cloth. Blot and air dry.

You'll find more detail in earlier posts in this thread.

I got my aerosol cans on ebay. I am a big chicken when it comes to doing anything to my bags, but it sprayed evenly, dried quickly and didn't change the appearance. Some of the cans on the bay say TLC, and some don't but I was told it is all the same product.
After using it on my LP, I got out all my uggs, and protected them from water and stain as well. Aside from the smell, which is inevitable, it's wonderful. And when it dried, the beautiful smell of the LP Leather was still there. HTH.

Cocolo, what does your aerosol TLC smell like? I bought mine on Ebay from the same seller you did and got a bit worried when I sprayed my cobalt dylan because the smell was super strong and I'm not sure what it is supposed to smell like.

I'm not good at placing smells, but my husband said he smelled like super strong nail polish. So the smell you have is right, but after it dried, my Dylan smelled like my Dylan again. But the smell of the TLC is very strong. We rigged up a pair of hanger hooks in the garage, opened up the garage door while we sprayed it, and just let it hang and dry in there.

How did yours turn out? I am very pleased with how it worked on my LP, and 3 pair of Uggs.

Your husband is right!! I just went and smelled my nail polish and it smells pretty much like the TLC aerosol.

My cobalt turned out great! It looks just like it did prior to being treated. It took a few days for the smell to go away but now it smells like it did when I bought it.

I now need to treat my turquoise dylan. I really want to use it, so, I hope I get enough courage in the next few days to treat it.

I live in an apartment so I have to deal with the smell for a while. I spray it outside and then hang the bag by an open window to try and air it out.

I'm so glad I saw this thread. I was recently enjoying some Chik-fil-A waffle fries and a couple of crumbs stained my LP espresso Dylan medium tote! :( I searched the thread, but didn't find advice for cleaning once I have a grease stain. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

How sad ThriftyLady. Why not do a general search through the whole forum for cornstarch? I seem to remember reading people saying that would soak up the oil, but I don't remember what thread it was on.

I hope some other people have suggestions. Perhaps you should post in the General Handbags and Bag section of the forum. I would think that something that works on grease would work on any bag, not just LP. Good luck, and I'm so sorry this happened.

I have a Dylan medium tote off white/ivory and used it once and just noticed it has marks on front... black marks like something rubbed against it. I haven't treated it and am afraid I don't know how to clean it? Any direction you can give me would be greatly appreciated!
