Of course! I often wear a black bag in the summer. I actually bought a black leather satchel a few weeks ago. The only reason I won't be carrying it in the next few weeks is the leather is very rich and heavy, and I love my green canvas and leather Marc Jacobs and my new Orla Kiely. However, when I get back home (still summer) I'll be carrying my Anthra Twiggy, or even that black satchel. Black is a great year-rounder.

Until a couple of years ago I never had a bag that wasn't black leather. I like more summery colours/patterns now, but I see a lot of black leather year round (I'm in Canada).
