Can you wear a black purse in the Spring/Summer?

I live in LA, so my seasons don't match up with yours. I have fire, mudslide, earthquake and riot. I will carry a black bag through most seasons except for maybe the a week or two in riot season. It is best to avoid carrying anything nice in riot season.

I am fortunate enough to live in a part of the world that is virtually seasonless. For that reason, all of my bags, including the black ones, are used year round. It really just depends on what I am wearing.

I use a black bag in the summer. If I don't, every other day I would be switching bags. I just don't have that kind of time.

Yes, I wear black handbags year around. However, I will make the effort to
rock more bright colors and nudes for those hawt summer days. Right now
my RM fling stud clutch in BLACK is my favorite bag to wear! Especially for
evening.

Black bags are the perfect summer bags IMO. People usually wear a lot of colors during the summer, so a black bag great for toning those vibrant colors down. Otherwise the outfit is just too "flowery" -.-

IMO colored bags are best in the Winter/spring to give a little pop to outfits, when people wear darker clothes.

I agree with this.

And a Balenciaga black day is a great summer bag, the slouchy look goes perfectly with summer clothing. I tend to use my day bags more in summer than winter.

that is so true..I tend to wear colorful tunics for summer thus I use neutral color bags..browns and black.

But in the winter , my colorful ones...including lesportsac when it is snowing...

I like the look of jeans, a white tee or tank and a black bag, especially my day with GSH! black can look great anytime of the year, go for it!
