Can you wear a black purse in the Spring/Summer?

Absolutely can wear black in the summer...keep it if you can so you can change bags when you want to. I love to wear black and white all summer long and I never carry a white bag. If you think it is too heavy/dark for the really dog days of summer, why not tie a cute little Pucci scarf on the handle???

Hello everyone! So, obviously I need to make up my own mind on this, but maybe you can help sway me in one direction or the other! I tend to buy a lot of black bags but then wonder if they are too dark to wear during the spring/summer months... I see lots of cute bags with bright, popping colors being worn during the warmer seasons, but I still want to wear my black! Too dreary? What are your thoughts? I am thinking about my black leather Burberry Prorsum Beaton bag in particular Thanks!

I think it all depends on the outfit you wear it with, but yes, a black bag can look as good as any 'purpose-built' Summer bag.

Haha! I am glad I won't be on a "most-wanted poster" issued by the Fashion Police! I just didn't want to look too drab and dreary, so I thought I'd ask all of you experts I think my issue is, I am a colorful person -- I wear a lot of bright colors and I love purple, so I'm wondering if I look like a giant bruise walking around with my big black bags and purple blouses...? At least I'm a bruise with style!
