Have you ordered from them before? I just started buying from them after being hesitant for so long from all the stories here but so far no issues. Shipping has been prompt and items have been just as described .there are only a few other resellers I will buy from but they just can’t seem to get the volume of stuff PF does. I am amazed at how much comes in. New styles that were just released from LV (I only check LV items) and other styles I haven’t seen posted elsewhere. The prices are so high in my opinion. I’m still trying to learn the ins and outs of PF though…I would like to try their layaway but so nervous on that…I may try on a small ticket item..
I have lost SO MUCH money from the layaway program, but mostly due to me being an impulsive shopper. I will see something new and interesting and reserve it, then the novelty wears off, and I don't have interest in it anymore. There have been a few times I have reserved and paid off the order, and then returned due to not liking the bag in person and still losing the 10% deposit.

I still like the layaway program, I like having the option, I'm just a lot more selective about what I reserve. As much as I kick myself for losing so much money, it was my choice and I paid for a service.

I don't want to write a novel, but there was a period of time for me when items were arriving not as described, and I was having trouble getting the layaway fee refunded. This is where filming an unboxing would be really handy.

Lately I have had two bags arrive not as described, and their customer service has greatly improved.

The first bag had a broken strap hook, and they offered a $250 refund to fix the bag at Hermes. The second bag arrived two weeks ago, and it was damaged during shipment. Luckily I had a lot of photos from the personal shopper to show how the bag looked before it arrived, and they offered me a FP store gift card for the inconvenience. I think because the bag was priced so low to begin with, they couldn't really lower the price of the bag anymore.

I called was on hold for close to an hour. Finally chose the call me back option. It's been several hours and haven't heard back. No response yet to my email which, I imagine could take a few days. When I bought with them years ago, I was always with my husband, and he paid (it was his account). I am not longer married, different name, don't even live in the area which is why I was trying to buy online. I hope someone gets back to me before they sell the bags to someone else. It's dissapointing as it looks like most people here on the forum are happy with them :confused1:
I was wondering if it was just me...I tried to call client services today to get more information on an item and was never able to get through. I have never had this problem before. The most I have had to wait is 30 minutes. I then wanted to book a selling appointment at the Carlsbad flagship, and I wasn't able to get through to that location either. I tried 4 different times throughout the day. Very odd!

Also I would be extremely upset if I had found a grail bag, only to have the order cancelled.

I call and request info about many different bags, the personal shoppers are able to locate the bags within minutes. I have never heard of them losing track of bags, that's crazy!

I was talking to one personal shopper a while ago, and she had mentioned it had been slow. I guess they are used to having more calls for inventory at Carlsbad. However, since they have so many more retail locations, inventory is spread out a lot more. Maybe this could be contributing to inventory being lost and then found?

I hope they get back to you early in the morning so you are able to get your bags. Their customer service seems to have improved a lot for me, but it wan't always this way. I have had horror stories, but I do keep coming back due to their selection and prices. They are also the only reseller that I trust for an item to be 100% authentic.

I had what I hope will be a once-in-a-lifetime situation with Fashionphile. I ordered two handbags on December 31 during their end-of-year promotion. Unfortunately, on January 7, while the items were still in transit, my area was evacuated due to the Palisades fires, and we had to leave our home for 10 days. I contacted Fashionphile customer service to explain what was happening. They were understanding and offered a 30-day return window extension. They also assured me that if delivery couldn't resume within that window, I would receive a full refund. I was pretty happy in a very stressful time they were so accommodating!
Gosh this was such a scary time, I hope you and your home were okay! I had the complete OPPOSITE experience with them being empathetic and accommodating during this time.

My situation was different though, it was regarding them wanting a refund on a gift card lol. They had strict deadlines for repayment when I accidentally found a glitch in their system, and I was trying to explain to them that my family lost their home during the wildfire, and I might need a little more time. I ended up paying it and taking a long break.

Thank you so much this is so comforting. I think it could have been a billing address error or that they took so long to charge my account that my extended one time daily limit had expired. I tried again this evening, fingers crossed. Thank you so much for the uplifting information!!!!
No problem at all! I would definitely reach out in the morning right when client services opens just to verify the order over the phone with them. If for some reason they are still having issues, ask if they can hold the bags for you until they figure it out. The managers get there first thing in the morning, so when it's less busy hopefully they can take a look and see what's going on. :)

Update!!!! I never heard back from Fashionphile regarding my "cancelled" order. No email response either. I spent a total of over two hours on hold over two days. Not sure what happened. I reordered everything last night and it was all here by noon today!!!! All bags are in excellent condition via Fashionphile. I am blown away as they are all pretty much new. Both the GO-14 and the Twist MM still have the protective film on the hardware. I cannot find a single flaw other than a tiny tiny tiny blemish on the silver handle of the Capucines (the holy grail bag to me). I am so happy!!!

So jealous of that Capucines. What a beautiful color. Glad it all worked out and the bags were as described. Enjoy! 😍

Yay! Im glad you had a great outcome. I was there yesterday and was told they were doing system updates. Maybe that is why you had issues but happy to know all went well! :)

Yep you sure can! Lol. Do it at your own risk as it can be stressful trying to get ALL your items out on time (60 days) There is a 10% fee if you cancel just FYI or if you don't complete the purchase by the pay off time. You’ll get your refund but minus 10%.
Thank you! Is it stressful doing layaway or is it the timeframe? Are they ok with keeping track of the items? My fear is I do layaway and they lose the item..

Oh no, its not stressful to do the layaway, it's just the time frame. 3 months would be great for me vs 2 months but I understand it's a courtesy they are doing for us so I appreciate that. I dont worry about them loosing my items. I have never had that happen before and I have reserved several items. If they did loose it, you would definitely get a full refund. I have never had my reserves lost ever and as soon as you pay it off, it usually ships that day or the next as long as it is during business hours. Im not sure if they ship on Saturday tho.

I will add BEFORE you reserve anything, get a Personal Shopper to go over the item for you, unless you are 100% comfortable with the pictures posted and the description. I have noticed at times there are discripencies in the listing and or photos and they do have other errors. I have found size errors and even color errors. Example, I'll see a black bag but the description will say it's red. So which one is correct? The pictures or the description? It's always best to have a personal shopper just pull the item for you that way you will know if you want to reserve as the 10% can be pricey depending on the cost of your item if you decide to cancel or even pay it off but still return it. Because it was a reserve item, if you pay it off and return, you will get charged that 10% fee. Reserve is great, you just need to make sure everything checks out for you before you reserve that's all. :)

I agree more time would be nice but the layaway option with no additional fees (unless you cancel or return) is very nice. I wish my other resellers I buy from would do that…. The sheer amount of volume they get is sometimes overwhelming because I see so much I want. The prices are sometimes hard to swallow but as a LV fan I knew that certain items would be way over retail. My other resellers haven’t gotten a lot of the Murakami pieces that FP is getting so I am accepting paying over retail. For me it’s less stressful than tracking down an SA maybe getting the item..
