bags that DON'T work for you

I can't do any bags with rolled handles. I have sloped shoulders and they ALL just fall right off. I'll see a bag I think looks gorgeous and then see those handles, I have to pass.

I also hate handheld only bags, super teeny bags- I feel like I look ridiculous with those. I am 5'8" and a size 6/8 and it just is not for me, and most flap bags bother me after a while. I'll get one, use it, get aggravated and ask myself WHY did I get this!? It's a vicious cycle, I need to stick with zip, magnetic, hook closure, or open top.

Single strap bags and hobos like LV Artsy. I don’t seem to be able to fit my stuff in them.

The other type of bags is like Celine Belt, Philip Lim Pashli. They are wide bags with a flap and a long shoulder strap that is attached to one side, not centered. As a result, the bag is not balanced.

Shoulder bags, I struggle to keep them on, they always fall off.
And cross body, they feel awful and give an unattractive look to the bosom.
Crossbody bags were made for women like me: small bosom spread far apart. Which is a configuration that sucks in almost every other scenario, let me tell you, but GREAT for crossbody bags! LOL

Speaking as someone who was "blessed" with more than I need, I envy you your shape. I just look matronly while you look stylish. Enjoy your "blessing."

I am little breasted and what little I have i don't want hidden by a strap with two little Hershey Kisses peeking out the sides LOL

That is the only time I am happy with boobs far apart and facing opposite directions! Finding the perfect bra to make it point forward and perky is a lifelong journey!:panic:

I legit laughed out loud in the car when I read this, @KittieKelly .

I guess there are problems on both sides of the spectrum!

Let's see; heavy bags with lots of hardware for sure. i do have a Balenciaga Day with the giant silver hardware but the bag itself is so light so the hardware does not wear it down. I really love hand held bags but I am afraid of getting a speedy. Even though I rarely use the shoulder strap on my satchels, at least I have the option in a pinch.

I also don't like bags with a big black hole. Purse organizers have been a blessing.
