bags that DON'T work for you

I was sadly disappointed in:
1) The Heroine bag by Alexander McQueen. It's a pain to get in and out of, and I would worry the design would eventually crease the leather.
This is where I am right now. I got one at an amazing price and always read how great the quality of McQueen bags are. While I love the look of them, I've not had one that has been all that great quality.
The heroine is lovely but even that has wonky stitching, the wrinkled leather on the flap etc. And I have been hunting on the net and unable to find anyone who has commented on how they fair over time. So either no one kept one or no one really uses it.
I think I've finally decided to just send it back and be done with it.

No large flaps, I prefer zip closure or open top. If open top, then there must be a zippered pocket inside. No flimsy or tacky zippers, a zip has to run smoothly. Nothing too heavy and def nothing that stains easily! Prefer at least a little structure, but no big bags that are boxy. For a small bag, alot of structure is okay but a big and stiff bag is so awkward. Nothing with "no bottom" - as in, a bag has to have at least somewhat flat bottom so things don't just tumble around in there and using an organizer is impossible.

No for flap, flimsy and /or round bottom, straps not long enough to get over the shoulder, any red color bags( from pink to red and to orange), no exotic skins including croco( especially croco! I feel like a crocodile hunter...) , no white or light color, no fabric( except nylon), no mono , no loud and/ or complicated hardware, no hobo with one handle( two handles ok), no open top, no flat walls with no outside pockets... easier to say what I like.:girlsigh:

A bag with a small opening but cavernous is not my cup of tea. Also, I do love an oversized tote but I'm not supposed to carry heavy shoulder bags anymore for chiropractic reasons.

I returned mine, and I thought I would miss it, but I didn't.

I had the MCM small Milla, it was super cute and I loved the leather. Ended up hating it because of the flaps getting in the way of accessing my belongings and also because the compartments are so narrow and hard to put my stuff into. I regretted ever buying it so I consigned it.

Balenciaga Bacon/Whistle bag - I lusted over a satchel for a long time because all of my Etsy bags were crossbody bags. I bought the Bal on Ebay and used it for 2 weeks. Ended up disliking it because my stuff was all over the place when I open the bag and also it was super heavy. It's consigned now but I'm crossing my fingers someone buys it.

Coach Vintage Penny - Got it for a steal but had a buyer's remorse. Unfortunately I can't return it because my consignment store doesn't accept returns.

LV Croisette - cute bag but the closure sucks. If the bag is not filled enough it won't close properly. I regret ever getting this bag. I stopped carrying it.

This Valentino bag I don't know the name of (picture is attached below) - I got it at TJMaxx.com. Cute bag but doesn't hold a lot, but worst part was the tip of the studs scratching against my bare leg and leaving white marks on my skin! It was soooo uncomfortable. I ended up returning it.

- Bags with chain straps. Although they look very classy, I can´t cope with those chains as they fall off my shoulders all the time  .
- Backpacks (big or small), I don´t like to wear a bag on my back.
- Handheld only bags - difficult! I have a love/hate relationship with my Speedy 30. It looks great, but in many situations it is so impractical.
- Heavy bags

Oh and I also hate handheld clutches. They need to have a strap! I get tired of carrying them in my hand or under my arm after awhile. And handheld-only bags like satchels or bowler bags need to have a strap, too.

I cannot with clutches. I leave a trail of them behind me. And I desperately want a neverfull but wtf with the teeeeeeny handle frop. I need @11" to be comfortable and it's like searching for hen's teeth to find anything over 7"

No bags that are strictly handheld
No bags that are too structured or look like lunch boxes
No bags with chain straps which get
caught in my hair
No bags without really soft leather
No bags without outside pockets
No bags that just require too much effort to use like complicated or
small openings
No bags that are uncomfortable to carry
No bags that are not durable, no flimsy handles or sloppy stitching
No bags with cheap crappy linings
No crappy hardware or plastic zippers
No bags that can't go out in the rain
No bags that can't handle all the stuff I carry around, I could never do a clutch!
Wow, didn't realize how picky I have become.

Gucci Soho Disco I have just discovered does not work for me.
I read the reviews, looked at modelling pics. It seemed great. But contrary to what the reviews say it does not hold alot, not much at all before being hard to get to anything and the opening doesn't open as wide as expected going by reviews. With my small wallet, keys, phone and card holder there was no room for my sunnies and I had to pull things out to get to what I needed.

I had to send it back, while I liked the idea of owning one I know I'd only have kept it to have one. It would have lived in my closet. Reviews were definitely misleading IMO.
