I have another one I can’t seem to get a handle on. I searched this forum for another type of this kind but all the links were older and removed so I couldn’t compare pictures. This is serial number 9715 and I recently purchased from eBay. The seller is loraowen. The item number is 285034601059. The title has the wrong color and serial number but I did in fact receive the camel bag. I just can’t shake the feeling maybe it isn’t real. Thank you again!

Link:

That seller LORAOWEN has been mentioned before about having a problem telling real from fake, and I can't recommend buying from some one who doesn't know or maybe doesn't care about the difference between the two. And there's simply NO excuse for not posting the correct style name, serial number or especially color. To me that indicates a lack of professionalism, or just plain carelessness. It only takes afew minutes to double-check that a listing is correct before posting it.

Here are some previous posts about the seller:

Since I can't open Ebay photos, please post a copy of the creed and serial number from the seller's listing AND a photo of the creed and serial number of the bag you actually received and be sure to indicate which is which, even if both seem to be from the same bag.

Ah. Thank you. Well I’m glad I know that about that seller now…I was nervous about it and should have trusted my gut. Here are photos from the eBay listing (the first 2), as well as photos i have taken myself (The second 2). The serial numbers do appear to match but I’m still nervous and agree with the wrong description in the listing I thought the same you. I discovered the forum after purchase but best believe this is my go to before anymore purchases!

You don't need to post pictures of the zipper brand. This is an authentic equestrian compartment bucket made in 1998.

Genuine Hamptons Leather Demi made in 2000.

There's no need to waste time or effort taking photos of the zipper brand. Read my Signature statement under every one of my posts. The zipper brand has absolutely NO connection to authenticity:

"Ignore any "Rules" you find in those useless online Authenticity Guides, they're almost ALL wrong - outdated, only true for a few styles, partly true only for a few years, or were never true in the first place, including the ridiculous YKK Zipper Rule. YKK zippers on a Coach DON'T prove it's genuine. Coach has used at least TEN different brands of metal, nylon, and even plastic zippers including several unmarked styles, anyone can buy genuine YKK zippers, and many fakes have FAKE YKK zippers. How hard is it to fake a zipper?"

This has been posted here, and at Ebay, and anyplace else that accurate information about Coach authenticity has ever been posted. Please read the related section of the six Salearea Guides. Better yet, read ALL the Guides, unlike most internet nonsense on the subject, they are ACCURATE:

"YKK' Zipper MYTH":

Please, no more YKK.

The photos came from a genuine Coach Legacy Turnlock Companion Flap made in 2001. It's good.

Thank you so much for checking them all. My daughter in law will get them in the Will. In the future I will not take pictures of the zipper, promise.
