Fake.

You can post on the Hall of Shame and if you have the patience and stamina, you can try to let Goodwill know they have yet another fake.

And whoever contacts them can feel free to let them know that their disclaimers are useless and their "All bids and sales are final and all items are sold As-Is" won't fly when it comes to the sale of counterfeit goods.

There are sometimes legitimate errors (made by Coach) on some bags from newer at the time plants.

These are 2 examples of creeds from a genuine Coach bags made in the same month and plant but in 1997. The G month codes are upside-down.

So the same plant really used different fonts. What a confusion!

I wonder for the following prairie bag, do you think it's authentic too?
The font of letters looks correct, but the font of numbers is not common. Wondering if it also same plant but different font?

The bag is authentic.

I'm not sure what you mean by you're "wondering if it also same plant but different font." This bag was made in the United States (L plant). The other bag you asked about and I answered in post 79,842 was made in Hungary.

When you say "others of the same style" do you mean others with EXACTLY the same style number or just other styles with a similar shape?

Please post a copy of the seller's creed and serial photo(s) from the listing, I don't have any photos of that style for comparison. Thanks!

Yes, others with EXACTLY the same style number of 4952. I have attached some photos from the listing, below. (UPDATED to add additional photos.)

Below are creed images of other listings with the EXACT same style number, 4952. What I have noticed, from the limited items I was able to find online, those handcrafted in costa rica have the additional inscription, " that is water resistant and exceptionally durable." Whereas those handcrafted in the united states do not. That is what had me question authenticity. But when comparing among those made in the same location, wording matched, so still authentic? Does this mean, not all from the 4952 style are considered, "water resistant and exceptionally durable?"
