Found this cutie at VV today for $15 so I nabbed it. Very good quality, but lacking what I would normally look for in terms of authenticity. Leather is smooth and nice. Lining is thick satin. Measures 10” across and about 7” tall. Strap has buckle adjustment and max 23” drop and is not removable. Only logo is COACH New York stamped on upper back and white leather hang tag. No interior patches etc. Small rubbery Made in Philippines Tag popped off when I checked to see if my wallet would fit. Turn key still had protection plastic which Is my only real red flag. Would love any info on this lovely little bag.

It looks fine. I don't know the style name but it's a smaller item, many of which don't have creeds.

I don't know the name of style number.

Dear Authenticators,

Please help verify this item. Thanks for your time and effort.

Item:
Coach 1941 Rogue Tote 26886 Heather Grey / Black Copper
Listing number: 223538923731
Seller: shopgirl35
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/NWT-Coach-...923731?hash=item340bf548d3:g:PnMAAOSwZYtc9EfP
Comments: the dust bag is not 1941.
It looks fine.

MFF items generally don't include dust bags. The seller may have requested one or may have just included one she already had. Based on what I see, the dust bag looks fine too.

Hi & Thanks in advance for your help!
This is 9 x 6 x 2.5"
I'm not sure of the name but it seems to be Spectator Collection, like the City bag crossbody but smaller?
The creed and serial number are both stamped directly onto the purse inside the main cavity on the zipper pocket front. Under the creed is hard to read but says "MADE IN THE UNITED STATES"
I'm including a few photos one of the outside including leather tag which says "COACH LEATHERWARE", the bag open, a couple of the creed/serial because it's a little hard to read, and one for location reference.

IMG_6439.JPG IMG_6440.JPG IMG_6441.JPG IMG_6442.JPG Good evening. When you have time please help me figure out if this might be authentic. I just received a vintage Compact Pouch I picked up to rehab for a friend's upcoming birthday, she had long admired mine. Everything looked good on the posting although the creed was difficult to clearly read. And it even had a BALL CHAIN Leatherware hangtag. The seller was not on the Wall of Shame. Well it arrived and I find the creed upon close look states "This is a COACH bean bag". In researching tpf I found Hyacinth's May 10, 2010 posting #431 about Bean Bag creeds. I am figuring I have my first fake, but I would like it checked because Hyacinth made one reference in her posting on the third creed that mine matches: "Others like the third one are harder to figure out and may actually be genuine." Does that mean it could be on a hand bag? I just wanted to get your input if I need to send back to the seller. Thanks so much.

All the information I think you might need is provided below.
Seller: peggy-silver
Link: (note she didn't know the correct style name)
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vtg-COACH-COMPANION-Black-Leather-Satchel-Smaller-Flap-Cross-Body-Purse-Bag-USA-/333211210819?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&nma=true&si=ekUwBSQqcJOhlGQRHVWkPhv%2Bpx0%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc

Attached are photos I just took in comparison to the compact pouch I have.
The new bag is on the right. All measurements are the same on both, turnlock hardware right. Only thing that might look wrong is the stitching on the new bags strap anchor to bag...maybe stitches smaller than should be (stitches on rest of bag look normal).

Please note that the post of mine that you mentioned is 9 years old. There are so many other newer references to "bean bag" here and even on Google. Always look for the most recent, not the first. Even the Salearea Guides posted here just last year have a better and more up to date answer:
https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/salearea-guides.983575/page-2#post-32253116

According to tPF's Search feature there are almost 500 posts here mentioning "Bean Bag" in the Coach forums including this post from less than 2 months ago with a link to a cached copy of Daria48's Ebay Guide on the subject.

The second and third links that come up under "coach bean bag" on Google lead to an archived post from 2015 at Ebay's old Fashion forum:
https://community.ebay.com/t5/Archive-Fashion/Coach-Authentication-Bean-Bag-Creed/td-p/23467873
Bean Bag creeds should be authenticated but they're not automatically fake. This one's genuine. Please always be careful not to use outdated information without looking for recent and probably more accurate information first, especially here at tPF.

Genuine, I believe it's a Compartment Bag Spectator from the late 1980s, style 6850. Click on the thumbnail for the Fall Preview 1989 catalog description

Thank you for the fast response and appreciate the added information. So glad to learn it's authentic and just 'special'. I was searching my usual google, pinterest, ebay, tpf - obviously using the wrong keyword 'fake coach bean bag creed'; and focusing on finding a bean bag creed picture like the new bag I received - skimming through links fast to glean some info to ask for authentication. I'll be less rushed next time!

Hi, can anyone tell me if this duffle/travel bag is authentic? It's old and I can't find any information on it. It doesn't an id number.
