Although both are "Nolita," they aren't the same style number.

Your bag is style 25017.
The bag you're comparing it to is 36392.

When making comparisons, you have to compare apples to apples; identical bag to the identical style.

I'd like an opinion on this listing. The stamp doesn't look like any other the serial number stamps from 1998 D. I don't believe this bag was made by Coach.

  • Since mid-2014, Coach stopped putting serial numbers on creeds so in newer bags where the creeds don't have serial numbers, we also need to see pictures of the labels/tags from inside the bag. They are either both in the main open part sewn into the seam of the lining, or one might be buried deep inside the zipper pocket. One shows where made and the other has a serial number.

Genuine, probably a Tailored Pouch style 4110 from the Lightweight line and made around 1988-89.

Definitely fake. The serial font is wrong.

The one that was sold by jayc1883 looks as if the Coach logo isn't even correctly centered inside the cartouche at the top of the creed. Maybe it's just the lighting though.

And in case BB doesn't get a chance to mention it, seller " jayc1883 " also had another fake that BB posted at the Hall Of Shame with a new fake number with incorrect overstamping details (most of the horizontal lines above and below the numbers are the wrong shape) but the number is really hard to read. It could be 0325-025, the 3s and 2s are very blurred.

Thank you for confirming. I'd found that jayc1883 sold that fake Weston to rhow6203. Clearly, neither seller does his/her due diligence! (There was feedback given to rhow6203 by jayc1883.)
