HELLO PLEASE PLEASE AUTHENTICATE THIS COACH BAG AND TELL ME THE RIGHT NAME AND WHICH LINE/YEAR IT IS FROM
Had a little black glue stuck on buckle which i peeled off also i can barely read the creed so i wasn't sure .
ITEM NAME: Grey leather crossbag
SELLER: NS RACK
Is NS RACK Nordstrom Rack?

It looks fine. It's a crossgrain Nolita satchel. (The tag would show the style name, often in an abbreviated form.)

Note that the "E" after the style number on the creed probably indicates an exclusive (style/color) bag that was made for a specific department store. Although there's never been confirmation or proof, I believe the "E" bags were sold at Dillard's.

Hello Authenticators,

I would love input on this item. It came horribly misshapen, which is evident in the photos, but I hope it is still ok for authentication. I took photos of all the tags I could find, but I couldn't find a white cloth tag in this bag like the rogues have... Please let me know if you need more/better photos of anything.

Item Name (if you know it): Market Tote
It looks fine. This one doesn't have the white tag with production info as it has a creed with "serial number" containing that information.

Item: A0P- 9404 hippie flap?
Listing number: n/a
Seller: local GW
Link: n/a
Comments: could you look at this one please and thank you!

Please don't think you have to eat the loss! The fact that PM doesn't remove fakes is irrelevant. Even their policy disallows the sale of fakes (as does the law) and the seller,
msfiah007 never should have listed it.

IMO, even the $6.79 shipping cost is more than it's worth.

Just an update: I was able to contact Poshmark Support. I sent them closer pics of the bag than what was in the listing. Since I already released funds to the seller (before I checked on the bag's authenticity here), they offered me credit based on the cost of the bag. It's not a full refund, but I figure it's better than nothing. I'll probably get a purse charm or dust bag with it.

I have a feeling nothing will be done with the seller, missfiah007. That part sucks. She still has a few brand name things still listed. It sucks that someone else might get screwed... hopefully they will find this and think twice before buying from her in the future.

Anyway, thanks guys. I really learned from this.

If you're comfortable with their compensation, who am I to say otherwise.

Personally, their offer wouldn't have made me happy. In spite of Poshmark's lax attitude toward acting on reports of fakes and their lack of expertise when their "authentication team" gets it wrong, the fact is that it's the law that sellers are responsible for verification of authenticity BEFORE they list items. And clearly, missfiah007 didn't do that.

Of course it's to Poshmark's benefit to offer a site credit because they don't lose a thing. Plus, you're likely to spend more than the amount of the credit on the next purchase.

I would have demanded a full refund, with or without the return or I would have filed a c.c. dispute. Now you're stuck with a fake bag that you paid for and can't resell to recoup your loss! (And it's not recommended that you donate it since that will just keep it in circulation.)

Based on the way Poshmark handled it, I question whether they even told the seller since there's no comment from you or anyone else on the listing.

I'm not a seller on Poshmark so I don't know how it works for sellers. The way I understand it, the buyer had an opportunity when she received the bag to say there was a problem. She didn't do that. She accepted the bag. Because of this, Poshmark released the money to the seller. At this point, they honored their contract with the seller and didn't take the money back. If I did sell on Poshmark, I would be happy that they didn't come back later to try to take the money back.
