Anyone ever purchase at farfetch.com?

I didn't have to do that. I wouldn't do that! I used Paypal and it went very smoothly.

I should have used PayPal! I did use Amex, but they emailed asking for license/proof of address/utility bill. I sent them only a portion of the utility bill, which I happened to have on me. But anyway, I'm nervous! Hope everything goes smoothly. I ordered an Anya Hindmarch jacket from them that is sold out everywhere else in my size.
 
A follow up to my above post:

While I do not yet know if/what the customs charges may be, the transaction was no problem at all. I ordered my item Sunday night. The store they sourced it from is in England, and the box arrived in NY today before lunchtime. My coat was very nicely packaged (and they included a fancy wooden hanger), wrapped in tissue and a bow from the store of origin. DHL was amazing, I have to say - they missed me at home and even rerouted it to my office at my request!:yahoo:
 
I'm glad I found this thread I was looking at some of their bags online and they are notably cheaper than in the US. It say's import duty included in the price but it seemed really low when compared to LVR's prices. How can they say import duty included and then you have to pay for delivery of the item? Am I the only one confused with this are we paying additional taxes?

I placed an order 22nd dec and received an email INCLUDING tracking no. Well i tried to track it down on DHL website but this item hasn't been collected by DHL. They've charged the money from my account, but the shoes are not on their way. Customer service is not emailing back to me.. i don't know whatta he** im supposed to do now. Call my credit card company that they call them to get my money back or what :D im kinda nerveous here.. and this was the ONLY e-shop i could find a GZ black pumps :D

I don't know if you read my posts in the beginning but you're not the first person to go through this. Unfortunately, they are not prompt at all when dealing with these types of issues. However, I would give it a little more time. I mean you did place your order on
December 22nd! I'm sure they had alot of orders during that time.

yes i did read it, afterwards though:D i know it's been only week and a half, but it says on their website that shipping is 2-4 days in europe and they did send me an email with the tracking no in it so obviously i thought that the package is on its way. i've never had these kind of problems shopping online and i do that a lot :D i also sent email to the boutique where the shoes supposed to leave :D..lets wait then..
 
I have always had wonderful experiences ordering from the boutiques on Farfetch. I love the way import duties are now included in the item price....so no surprises! And I find DHL to be wonderfully accomodating:O)
 
i didn't get any response from farfetch so sent them email and asked refund and cancel the order. They emailed me immediately back and confirmed that the order has been canceled..after that they said that my order was shipped to ANOTHER destination?!?!? i don't get it but one thing is for sure, i am not using their services ever again. what kind of website doesn't even have a phonenumber??

Wow! I guess its a hit or miss with them. It's funny how they contacted you after you cancelled the order but couldn't contact you regarding the whereabouts of your order.
