the store said they are going to order one for me and i am not very picky on colors either. just hope they keep their promise and call me. i am 3 hours away from the store and i cannot go there all the time..........
I touched base with them in the hopes of obtaining a 28 kelly some day and was told I'd have to shop there and support the rest of their business. Truth be, I'd have been happy to do so but after that brush off, I don't think so. It's not like it's a hop, skip away.
I got my new Plume!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She's a gold 32cm Plume in gold buffalo with white stitching!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Plume 32 can hold a LOT more than the Bolide 31 so I'm a happy puppy. I wish I was computer-literate enough to post a pic, but I'm an idiot. I haven't gotten the nerve to carry it yet; I just open the box and sniff the leather once in awhile. Kudos to Cuffs for making it happen.
There are some new people working at Cuffs; Lyon had to leave because her children need her at home more. One or two of Rodger's sons have started helping their dad out at the store. I've never set foot in the place, but they've always been very good to me. I've never asked for a Birkin, though; they just seem too "fiddly" to me and too much work to get into and out of. I like Plumes and Bolides, and am thinking about maybe trying a Paris-Bombay.

many congratulations, oasis1313! I love my 32 Plume, very roomy and classic...makes me want more of this style, for sure. I would love to see a pic of yours - gold with white stitching is gorgeous!
Did it really take 4 years to produce your order? That is one long(er than usual) wait.
The buffalo bag actually arrived at Cuffs a couple of years ago (buffalo took longer than, say, togo), but I wanted it to arrive at its new home with me at the same time as my ostrich plume (yeah, I'm kinda weird), so the Kowalls kindly stored it for me while waiting for the ostrich order I placed. Unfortunately, Hermes cancelled my ostrich Plume (didn't want to make a 32cm Plume--let alone in any fun colors, the twits) and didn't bother to tell anybody so we've all been patiently waiting all this time. We're trying to form a new game plan for the next bag, but Mr. Kowall didn't want me to wait for the Golden Plume anymore.
