Taiqi. i hope to be able to meet with him...you see each piece is unique and will not be the same because they were hand crafted.....

Oh ! Do they have modern reproductions ? Idid not see any when I bought my necklace n kolosan. Oh... maybe I am too attracted by their Intan
Jewellery , I will make a trip down again to see it. Thks for sharing :smile1:

Intan, all the items are for sale... They have modern reproductions too and there are also quite nice....so there is something for every taste...

I think i saw some on the left hand side of the shop display...not sure now..hihi getting old .. I am pleasantly surprised that there is still a place willing to do repairs.... over here every piece of silver and gold i send for repairs ended up "destroyed"....

Hi I am new in the forum just broswing all past threads, I just bought a book on
Nyona Kebaya at this shop at Katong Shopping Centre. The pictures on the books
of the Nyona Kebaya are very beautiful

Hi in tan

So tired having ironed 9 pieces of mum's kebaya. Sometime back a relative wanted to borrow mum's kebaya and passed the whole lot. She must have tried on and I did not wash so the sweat must have caused some kind of stain on a few pieces so washed all of them today. Its a shame I can't fit in. Will put to good use later on

I saw the pics and would love to see the jewellery pieces for myself. I understand that it is a traditional jewellery shop opposite fook hai building. May I have the name of the shop please?

Thanks!!!

Happy New Year All Intan Lovers,

Like to share with you all my latest purchase of Intan Kolosan (from the same shop Kim Poh Hong Goldsmith) This Kolosan matches very well with the red Kebaya I wore during Chinese New Year.
My friend that went with me, was so engrossed with the Intan Display, she ended up
buying a pair of "Phoneix Tail" shape earring She was very happy over it.
