I thought I'd post my question here since I know authenticators require creed picture. I was going through local fb marketplace and saw this ad. The pic looks like regina for sure but the crooked line on the inside of flap makes me wonder about authenticity even without the creed picture. Any insights that anyone can share? Posting two pictures that the seller posted. Thank you!

An item can't be identified, named, or authenticated without enough pictures to prove or disprove authenticity.

Request a picture from the seller showing the creed and post on the authentication thread.

In my experience, some rivets on vintage Coach are concave, some are flat or slightly bumped up. We don't use the shape of rivets to authenticate.

I have a question about the creed. When you have one like this for example how can you tell if it authentic when it starts to fade? And what causes it to fade like this?

There is enough showing that it isn't difficult to see the things we need to see. Some weren't stamped as deeply as others. In my experience, the NYC creeds are some of the easiest to read. Maybe as the leather got thinner, the stamping suffered.

I notice that with NYC creeds they are deep. I don’t know if it was technique or leather type that made it so deep.

Are there any red flags with this creed or you can’t tell due to the fading?

There is nothing wrong with that creed. A creed alone can't be authenticated. You need to see the bag it is in. A counterfeiter could copy a creed exactly and then put it in a fake bag.
