I know there will more comments on this year's HP. And maybe there will be pics of consumer products that matches this pendant. Let the comparisons (games) begin. Lol, I have last year's HP (tile) necklace and surprisingly it goes with a lot of white, black, grey, etc. A very easy necklace to wear.

I think I was one of the few who was over the moon for last year’s HP. The colors were reminiscent of my teen years.

It certainly does go with a lot! A great pop of color.

I laughed out loud when I read that this year's HP reminded them of their kitchen counter.

Somehow this Spam necklace was highly sought after. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to even view the necklace as I was not on the list to purchase. I wonder if people that have it still like their Spam necklace....

I feel the same way too. I’m a sucker for anything pastel color and it was in WG which is a plus for me. I’ve been wearing it nonstop since I got it.

lbchanellvr, I was offered it, but don't usually buy the HPs. Plus, I just couldn't get the Spam connection out of my head. But, I do hope those who bought it, absolutely love it!

I got last year’s as well and it’s very easy to pair it with my wardrobe. I would have gotten spam too if I had a chance (didnt get offered one, sadly). I’m sure silver obsidian is a wearable piece. I love my gmop for the same reason

dear, the silver obsidian bracelet and necklace will be in RG, and I was told that they are only for vvip so far, I can get the HP, but no bracelet

so maybe it’s a good thing for others who want the silver obsidian?

BTW, they did 2014 gmop HP in RG too, also the regular gmop.

So it will be a repeat of 2014. I suppose the purple was a lie?

When I was buying my pig brooch, I was given the choice between gmop (old version) vs. Obsidian (new model). The obsidian just fell flat for me. There was no shimmer (at least that’s what I had imagined in my head given the picture of the grey with white flecks). For me, personally (don’t shoot me, please), I felt obsidian was a cheaper alternative to gmop. Gmop gave the pig dimension and the flashes of green/pink from the gmop was mesmerizing. If this HP is anything like the pig I saw, it’s just going to be a dark steel stone with a diamond in the middle, kind of boring IMHO.

Silver obsidian is made from black volcanic ash. Pumice is also made from volcanic ash and people are already making that comparison. Interestingly, someone just told me volcanic ash is bad luck in Hawaii. TBH I’m super disappointed in this stone’s choice. I wish they had chosen purple.

That’s so sad! I really expected shimmer since it’s called silver… From what I googled there are some stunning shiny versions. It would be very upsetting if it were a flat stone with no shine.

I suspect that it’s not obsidian because they are planning to launch the limited 20 motif obsidian and pietresite collections which are currently allocated to the top vvvip based on regions. Maybe one of the stones used in the zodiac collection that are not these 2 or the regular Alhambra collection? At this point I’m just guessing. But if I had to manifest, I’m still dreaming of a lapis or coral HP
