I remember my SA said it cannot be polished because of the brushed finish. I am not very sure but I would just leave it as it will get scratch again later. I wear my HP very often and I still love it.

I've been told the back of the pendant or the gold portion cannot be polished. If it bothers you, you can add engravement over the scratch to sort of conceal it. Within one year of purchase it's free, after one year there's a small fee.
I've accidentally left a hairline scratch on the obsidian when layering it with a tennis bracelet, my SA told me they can try to polish out the stone but maybe wait until there are more scratches? It doesn't really bother me though since you can't really see it, I'll just replace the stone if it really start to bother me. 😅
Does anyone know if it’s still possible to get the 2023 holiday pendant in the US? I was offered one when it first came out and returned it as I wasn’t in love. Of course now I’m interested in one! Open to buying on the secondary market, but not for a huge mark up!

Just my 2 cents on the 2023 Holiday Pendant. I was super excited to hear that it was a new stone being used and I understand the masses did not like it thinking it looked too similar to onyx.
It's tricky because the color variation of obsidian were too vast.
The lighter metallic hues is really gorgeous and the HP is easily my favourite pendant.
I cannot wait for this year's pendant, white gold pietersite please!!!

Wholeheartedly agreed with you on the obsidian with light metallic sheen is the way to go. I was offered several HP to choose from, they all looked vastly different in terms of color, texture, and sheen. I can totally see why some people think it looks flat, which it can be due to one or more of these factors. I ended up picking one with a very strong, pale metallic sheen and it literally glow in natural lighting
Also hoping this year's HP will be in WG + natural stone.

Hi! I'm relatively new to VCA, and I've just bought a small, no frills white gold frivole bracelet. My SA however, also showed me the 2023 holiday pendant and asked if I was interested in purchasing it. Is this piece hard to get? Shall I bite the bullet?
Curious on how they missed out one piece in inventory given that we're now eagerly awaiting the new HP.
Given your new purchase history, to even be offered one is rare.
I would take it because I truly love it but then again the variety in shades may differ with your liking.
If you reject this, you may not be offered the HP this year as it is strictly by allocation only.

It was very hard to get before the holidays last year. Only buy something you truly want and will wear… there's always another shiny sparkly item to add to the wish list.
It is amazing that they have any still avaiable as these are collectible. I also believe they have to get approval by hq before selling to anyone. I have one and it’s my favorite color combo. You should at least try it on or if you pass, share the boutique info with others who may be interested in getting one.
That's crazy! I love the obsidian 2023 HP and it is super hard to come by especially a year later. We're all anxious to see what stone will be 2024 HP but essentially only a limited amount is allocated to SA so it's typically offered to their loyal big spenders
I agree.... thank you for the advice!! I was so stunned in the moment that it hadn't registered that I was looking at the holiday pendant! It was beautiful. I have asked my SA to hold it and will go try it on tomorrow...
