It does feel a little like cheating. I think with grey mother of pearl Holiday pendant they came out with a collection the following year?

I’m in the same boat. I have not seen a color I’ve liked in a while but this I love. If this is the stone and if offered I’d take it in a heart beat. It’s a lovely neutral and a precious stone. It is time that the Maison released a color for those of us who like neutrals and subtle colors. It’s very wearable all year round. I’ve seen ******** and others expressing disappointment or denigrating it. Well better for those of us who’d love to be offered it as we will have a better chance! :smile:

There was no shimmer (at least that’s what I had imagined in my head given the picture of the grey with white flecks). For me, personally (don’t shoot me, please), I felt obsidian was a cheaper alternative to gmop. Gmop gave the pig dimension and the flashes of green/pink from the gmop was mesmerizing. If this HP is anything like the pig I saw, it’s just going to be a dark steel stone with a diamond in the middle, kind of boring IMHO.

Same thought! My girl’s Chinese zodiac was pig originally planned to buy the brooch with grey mop but then it changed to obdisdian, to me it’s a very steel color in real life with silvery stripes which the SA tells me mimicking the hair on the pig lol nop I don’t buy this I still love the iridescent of grey mop way more~~~ since then I lose interest in getting the pig brooch
