I just saw a mock up on a website and the silver Obsidian looks like a rock to me. Of course this was a mock up so maybe it will be more beautiful in person/product pictures?
Yay! I wanted red or pink but silver obsidian would be beautiful in rose gold. I'm in!
Haven't seen the mock up but I've seen silver obsidian in real life before as home decor pieces. It's really pretty, dark grey with silver iridescence like the photo below. We shall see how it'll turn out as the center stone for the HP but I think it'll be pretty with the diamond.
I think it will have a depth and glitter to it in person that isn’t apparent in the mock-ups.

The 20 MO coming in Silver Obsidian is in RG and the article says it will come in gold so therefore the HP would be different. So that part is inaccurate.
That blogger always rushes her info from our forum wanting to be the first to leak it.
I would believe more diamond Dubai who has insiders or our own TPF members.

Before I read your post I was thinking no way am I going to like this combo. Just checked out the pig brooch. Its actually lovely and now I want the pig too!
