Sounds like the perfect guy! Maybe I can set him up with Sparkle Jr. They're about the same height.
Seriously, though I love these bears. I have a thing for teddy bears and still have the (fairly large but very squishy and cuddly) one my dad gave me as a little girl. I think I should snag one of these cuties. Like you, I can just keep him around. He doesn't have to dangle from a bag.
Sounds as though Sparkle Jr and I are the same height! I'm exactly 60" tall in stocking feet... is that her height? But I'll bet she's like me: she "walks tall." :graucho:

It's listed on the website as the Rogue Leather and Snakeskin satchel. I am not well versed in Coach anymore; is it also called the Brooklyn satchel?

It's a very strong like, but may not be love. I wish it would sell out so I could stop looking at it! [emoji6]
Oh,yes! This one is much, much nicer than the Brooklyn. It has the thick, chewy, yummy leather. It's a beauty!!

Hm. It's a gorgeous bag. And the new Coach bags seems to be really well made! (And go on sale!)

But it's kinda similar in style to your Borough, and in color to that NYC Coach bag you have.

Today I'm taking my new Fendi with me for the first time. I have to admit that when I got home. I had a bit of buyer's remorse because while I've loved the look of BTW bags, I'd never seriously considered buying one. I bought the smaller one for my daughter on our first day in Rome. Then I hemmed and hawed the rest of time we were there about whether to get the larger one for me. :-s So, I began to worry a bit when I got home.

But! Hurray!! It's love! :yahoo: This bag is so easy to wear and holds a ton! I also love how clean the lines are. It's beautiful and ...restful. LOL!

My only wish is that I could have gotten the tag heat stamped with my initials as we did with Sparkle Jr's. But since I do sell my bags when I tire of them, I felt it best to keep it plain. Too bad they don't sell extras.

So I'm sorta participating in bag charm week because this has its hang tag. Maybe I'll go crazy and get a poof ball for it from Target! IMG_6126.jpg

Question for everyone: what less common feature (or features) do you really love to have in a bag?

I've realized I like bags to have the little teeny strap and ring inside for keys. It helps me keep track of them in larger bagss. But I don't see this feature often.

I also have to have a middle zippered section in my totes. It keeps things more organized because there are now 3 separate compartments and it provides security because I can put my wallet or other special items in the zip part.

The last one isn't a feature so much as structure. The straps have to have a drop long enough to allow for the bag to be comfortable on my shoulder, have room for a coat and not be in my armpit. So for me that's a min 9" drop.

Sooooo...remember my cursed red Gucci Soho bag that I sold three times to three scammers? :annoyed: In the third sale's dispute, PayPal sided with the buyer and scammer #3 was supposed to send the bag back.

Well, I go to Europe for 3 weeks and get back - no bag. I check the post office to see if it was mis-sorted and not placed in my held mail. Nope. I checked the PayPal website and the money has been refunded to her but no record of a shipment. :whut: So I have no money and no bag. I call PayPal and they said yes she was supposed to send the bag back to get a refund but because I hadn't responded to something while I was gone, they let her keep the bag and gave her the money. What in the world???? :cursing:

So I've talked to multiple people over two days. Finally someone with common sense reimbursed me. I'm very glad I got the sales proceeds which is actually better then getting the bag back a third time.

But, I'm frustrated with two things. One of the "managers" I spoke with said that when I sent the pictures, authentication and receipt, it really didn't matter because they aren't in the business of knowing bags. So the best I would ever get as a seller is for the person to send the merchandise back. They'll never make the buyer keep the product and honor the sale. Why have an investigative process if they don't use evidence provided. (And of course that means a scammer could send back an empty box and get the both bag and the money.)

My second and bigger issue is that Scammer #3 DID get the money and the bag. How do some people live with themselves???

I'm worn out. I decided to get quotes from consigners on the last 3 bags I want to sell and ship them off. After 5 years of selling almost 150 bags this is the only issue I've had. But it was enough to make me d-o-n-e with selling for quite a while. I'm glad I love everything I have. :-s

:hugs:

OMG. They have NO common sense and no moral compass. I'll say that again, thE(ba)y have NO common sense and no moral compass

As you know the last dealings with FlEbay went bad but worked themselves out - even if in one case, only with karma. That was Christmas and I haven't been on there since. Leaves you feeling so vulnerable as a seller.

The Gucci cases are thinner but taller. And $95 more than LV. This would look super cute with your baby bag!

The LV is shorter but holds more non flat items imo. But this would also look cute. lol I'm no help.

I still want a Gucci key pouch too but I'm waiting for a different pattern lol.

Good luck deciding!
Thanks for the info bake! Super helpful. I'll definitely share when I've decided :D Excited about a little treat after a long time on pause peninsula haha.

I love the extra sleeve (is that what you call it?) on the back on chanel flaps. It's discreet but is perfect for sticking a metro card or access card when I travel. I know lots of bags have them on the inside, but I've found this external one more useful! I don't take public transport in my own city though so it's more of a "nice to have" for me.

1. If the bag has a zip I need something to pull against on the other side to keep the zipper taut. I hope people understand what I mean. I can't be fussing with zips, leaving them open or worrying I might break it.

2. Apart from sportier/larger/casual bags I prefer not to see a zip, therefore my dressier bags with a zip must also have a flap over.

3. I hate the brand's name on the outside of the bag. I don't mind an icon or cleverly designed logo but not the name. Even a sig/mono print is fine, just not the name - I bought the bag, I know where I bought it. OK, so that's not a feature, shall will just say since every bag I see now has this feature I would like this common feature to be removed.

4. 5 pockets max on a bag inside or out or I seriously start to forget what goes where.

5. Always an inside pocket. I like the little flat pocket for ticket/s and lip-stuff

6. I'm the opposite of you @Sparkletastic , A shoulder bag and a hand held tote are two different things for me. I don't like long handles on a tote, rolled handles or bamboo not just straps for handles, and length just for hands-only. Shoulder bags/hobos have to have a single strap. X-bodies should be adjustable so it's the same length with different coats/jackets but it's not a deal breaker. Adjustable handles/straps on anything are always nice.

7. Feet on larger flat bottomed bags. I have to remember not to put my GP on the floor.

8. Any integral charm/tag/thing should be removable - they're not right for all occasions

9. Leather suede lining except in Summer bags or shoppers. Total deal breaker.

10. No saggy bottoms unless it's a hobo. I'll make my own base if I have to but it shouldn't be up to me. Feature a base shaper.

@ElainePG and @Hobbsy - I'm just so infuriated. I don't understand why EBay and PayPal make it so easy on thieves. As a seller (or buyer) I'd be willing to pay $20 for the item to go to a third party, be verified and then sent on to the buyer to prevent any squirrely claims on either end. I wonder why that isn't offered. It certainly would get more people to list and buy.
Didn't Poshmark offer that at one time?

There is something called 'Ebay Authenticate' which a new service.

I don't know about it first hand I just read about it somewhere

It's one of those LOL, actually looks a stylish and practical bag if you need it

Twilly/scarf time!!

I typically will tie the scarf on the handle in a bow. Or wrap only one handle. I don't have pairs, so I can't wrap both handles, but I guess I could wrap both because they seem to be able to mix and match.

But bows [emoji166] are pretty, especially on my [emoji521] Evelyne!

It's funny, one time I was going about my shopping business wearing my Evelyne with a bow tied just like this. One lady at Hermes grabbed her SA, dragged him to me and pointed "I want that."

At the time, it was a bit startling so I went to a different counter. Now I'm kinda used to it, especially at H, because it's an example of how to use their twillies. ‍♀️

Here are the Hermes twillies.

These are my Burberry, LV, and Bally scarves.

The thicker LV and Bally I actually wear as a scarf as well. The thinner, small ones, I put in my hair in a bow.

Last but not least, my weekend combo:
Dior and Hermes

So since I can wear these and put them on my bag, I find these versatile enough.

Still gotta find those last two charms. lol I keep forgetting.
