Beautiful hobo, simple and cool and such a lovely colour.

I think most of us over 21 are in the same boat regarding make-up so please don't be too hard on yourself. I have too much skin care stuff too (do people just throw away 'not so great' masks and serums etc?). I also think I spend 100 x less than others but you should see my stash of premier eye-shadows and blushers and lipsticks and glosses and bronzers and and and, OMG, 2 lifetimes. I dare not look at the sell-by dates. Problem is I don't often have enough time to clean my teeth, when was I going to blend co-ordinating eye-shadows? TM/foundation, radiance powder and mascara and I'm still running for that train.

OMG! You could be my soulmate! I was the type to check out every LE my favorite brands came out and haul skin care everytime I travel, which is quite often [emoji20], until 5 years ago, I just decided it's too much. I gave away some and keep some. Did the skin care inventory and determine to finish them all. It's going well on skin care department. Now, I allow myself to haul once a year, but not without thoroughly checking on my inventory first. I'm still awful on makeup department though. [emoji28] The thing that succeed the most is powder. The rest just seem to sit there. [emoji28]

Pure lovely. The scarves on this thread are truly tempting me. I actually put an Hermes scarf in my online shopping cart and forced myself to remove it. LOL!

Thank you for the complement. I do think I'd make an interesting sight in my rusty school bus. LOL!

And I'm like you. I love home decor and having a well decorated home is important to me. So that 's another area that doesn't seem like a waste even though I don't go crazy with it. But 3 cents spent on car maintenance feels like a complete financial drain. LOL!

I think we've touched on this subject before. I see others wear makeup with great success. I just wonder where they get the extra time each morning?????

I also have taken classes on how to do this or that with make up. It makes such sense when I'm doing it under their supervision. Then I get home and I have as much chance of mixing and applying things correctly as I would assembling a suitcase nuke wearing mittens. Not gonna happen. So I stick to my easy, minimalist, makeup routine.

I took some makeup classes, too. [emoji6] Don't get to use them everyday, but they do come in handy when it's time for the event.

So funny about make-up classes. And that's the good ones. At least the classes are with artists. Sometimes I get into talked in to the makeover chair and I'm shocked at the result, can't wait to get into the bathroom and wash it all off.

Ah... yes. That's true for some classes. I couldn't believe my eyes! I'm fine with my freckles and all. People shouldn't cake on the foundation and orange blush and orange lip aren't the flattering look on me. Sometimes, I wonder if they ever heard of the word "undertone". [emoji17]

Love your Chanels especially that one at the back, I think lambskin bronze? I can't wait to hear how you like your MM Thea Midi. Actually, Thea Midi in deep fuchsia is in my wish list.
I just wondered how many bags others take on holiday and do you put them in your hold luggage? I know mine are insured on my household policy but it would be an ordeal I'm sure to have to claim. It seems a shame though as it's an opportunity to use different bags
Enjoy your holiday! I normally take only 1 handbag (the one I have during the flight) and 1 for sightseeing. And then maybe I'd take 1 small nylon Longhcamp which is easy on the luggage because it is foldable. During my last trip, I didn't intend to use my large Le Pliage for sightseeing, it was a what-if bag for carry-on going back. But it turned out to be more convenient to walk around with that bag. Usually, I don't have dressy evenings out during my trip. But in case, I bring a leather wristlet (Massaccesi Flora for now) which I can use if ever.

Lovin' the Dior!!!

Have you tried different colour pouches in the Fendi. Organisation is top-priority for hobos (for me worth it)
I already have pouches. The thing that is difficult for me with hobos is the wrist twisting to be able to put my hand inside the bag while it is slung on my shoulder. So at times, I tend to take the bag off my shoulder and put it at the crook of my other arm and then find the stuff I need. Such a hassle for me.
I can't believe I was actually on-theme yesterday and totally by coincidence too as I hadn't looked first.

Silver is my middle name (actually a family name) so I count it as a neutral.

Silver Cambridge satchel. The finish is rubbing off a little on the top but these satchels look better worn-in and let's face it, it was always a bit of a beater bag even when new, I wear it when I don't care. More metallics to follow...

You have a lovely metallic collection!! Plus lovely scarves!

Speaking of names, when we say middle name here, it is the mother's maiden surname. And for some with 2 given names, these 2 names are still referred to as First Name.

That'd be fabulous! I love the deep fuchsia merino! It's surprisingly versatile. I'm glad I ordered it before my doubt caught me. [emoji28] I haven't tested it out yet. But soon. [emoji4] I'm glad I choose this size. I think the full size one will be too big for me.

I had gotten her an iPad before she got into wanting LV. Lol. She still has that and doesn't want to upgrade.
I want to take her to plays, shows, dinners, but she is so picky, that it's hard to just pick one.

And she's more price conscious of those for some reason. Even if I'm paying.

I leave at the end of the month, and yes I have decided.

I was going to surprise everyone, but whatever it's nothing crazy like going abroad internationally.

I'm going to Hawaii. [emoji4]

So if anyone has any Hawaii recommendations, please share! Like what to eat, where to shop, what to do. Lol.
While at the shower this morning and before reading your post, I was just reminiscing my trip to Oahu a few years ago. It's one of my most favorite trips!! I can't explain it, I (we) really just had a great time. We were 2 siblings and 2 nieces on that trip. We took the "Circle Island Tour" that included a visit to Pearl Harbor and we also visited the Polynesian Cultural Center and experienced luau. I'm not sure if there's one more tour we got. Waikiki beach was a few blocks from the hotel. The rest of our 5 or 6 days stay, we were on our own and no more group tours. And of course shopping. Have a great time!!

I rarely wear make up and I'm just happy to get those freebies from Clinique, my brand for skin care. I need mild products. I just started to do my eyebrows 5 years ago and it is only lately that I've found the product I like for them. For eyelids, I don't know how to do eyeshadow! And I don't bother with mascara now that I no longer wear contact lens and am wearing eyeglasses. Moisturizer, CC cream (with spf) and powder foundation plus blush and lipstick are my daily essentials.

Still using my refreshed, Fendi clutch. [emoji7]

I haven't been for awhile, but I really like Oahu. I have read on other threads that LV is less expensive in Hawaii; this amazes me. I am pretty sure that this is already on your "to do" list, bake! [emoji6]

LV is definitely on the list, I need my hibiscus hot stamp!

Maybe get one of those fun Hawaii LV totes haha.

Ooh, I'm doing all of that. Pearl Harbor and all the museums and memorials, the Polynesian Cultural Center and the island tour.

I'm excited. Everyone tells me it'll be great fun.

I'm early at the office today because it's my car's "number coding" day (part of our government's traffic management measures). This is my bag and outfit. We're allowed casual get-ups for these summer months (April and May but attire extended until end of June)

I like your necklace!
And love your Speedy of course!

A few more metallics, all current. Most are silver but somewhere I have a very beautiful Sergio Rossi blue-purple clutch, I bought it for the colour alone. I also notice my silver bags are pretty much all mirror and quite space-age, I guess there's no half measures for me.

Amazing Tanner Krolle shoulder bag by Quentin Mackay. Love the latch. All black suede inside.

The only pic I can find to hand of my rather shy Balenciaga Bowling Holiday 2009 (back row, right). Top-handle only. I think it's rather intimidated by all the H on the table LOL, that's why it's hiding. It's mirror leather, and a fantastic bag in the rain. Love this all year round but especially in the Summer. BTW, the others are friend's bags and not mine.

Gucci Silver Romy clutch (front, right). Not too small, and I have a 'matching' belt (same studs but pure gold). Gucci does silver and gold very well. I have several pairs of Gucci metallic shoes and boots.

Sterling silver and 18k gold Gucci minaudière (this one doesn't come out to play very often for obvious reasons). The clasp is tigers eye.

Gucci Valentine's Leather Heart Boston. DH bought me this (a miracle) I didn't like this bag really very much till this year. Now, I find it fits right in without me having to buy any new OTT Gucci bags and I bought some Gucci shoes that look pretty amazing with it too but the rest of the outfit has to virtually rags to work. Another chuck around bag.

Good ol' Cambridge satchels. It took me ages to choose a colour, very happy with this one.

I am glad that I bought some jewelry before from the "alaheros" that sell in the office, on installment. I got some Made in Italy pieces plus locally made in Bulacan (a province here). Now I've lost interest to buy. And turned to bags, lol!

I wish I would lose interest in buying bags for a bit.

I feel I could use that one piece I wear daily for decades to come.

But I don't know what that piece is so I just keep buying bags and SLGs lol.

But your necklace is super cute.

My makeup routine is similar to yours! [emoji4] I only put on moisturizer, BB or CC cream, sunscreen, powder, then some lip product. I don't even wear blushes most of the day. Lucky me my cheek is still naturally pink most of the day. I skip eye makeup coz I wear glasses, too. ;) But when I attend events, it's a must.

I used to do it thoroughly with highlighter and everything before DD came along. [emoji16] Now, not anymore. I'm just plain lazy. [emoji16] It's a nice excuse for me. [emoji38]

If you're looking for mild makeup, I wholeheartedly recommend Kanebo. It's a Japanese brand and their stuff are subtle, for all the product itself and the look it gives. My favorite lines are Lunasol and Kate. [emoji6]
