I wish I would lose interest in buying bags for a bit.

I feel I could use that one piece I wear daily for decades to come.

But I don't know what that piece is so I just keep buying bags and SLGs lol.

But your necklace is super cute.

When you get older, you'll know. [emoji6] You probably already have it in your collection. [emoji6]

A few more metallics, all current. Most are silver but somewhere I have a very beautiful Sergio Rossi blue-purple clutch, I bought it for the colour alone. I also notice my silver bags are pretty much all mirror and quite space-age, I guess there's no half measures for me.

Amazing Tanner Krolle shoulder bag by Quentin Mackay. Love the latch. All black suede inside.

The only pic I can find to hand of my rather shy Balenciaga Bowling Holiday 2009 (back row, right). Top-handle only. I think it's rather intimidated by all the H on the table LOL, that's why it's hiding. It's mirror leather, and a fantastic bag in the rain. Love this all year round but especially in the Summer. BTW, the others are friend's bags and not mine.

Gucci Silver Romy clutch (front, right). Not too small, and I have a 'matching' belt (same studs but pure gold). Gucci does silver and gold very well. I have several pairs of Gucci metallic shoes and boots.

Sterling silver and 18k gold Gucci minaudière (this one doesn't come out to play very often for obvious reasons). The clasp is tigers eye.

Gucci Valentine's Leather Heart Boston. DH bought me this (a miracle) I didn't like this bag really very much till this year. Now, I find it fits right in without me having to buy any new OTT Gucci bags and I bought some Gucci shoes that look pretty amazing with it too but the rest of the outfit has to virtually rags to work. Another chuck around bag.

Good ol' Cambridge satchels. It took me ages to choose a colour, very happy with this one.

What a gorgeous, diverse collection of metallics!

Still using my refreshed, Fendi clutch. [emoji7]

I haven't been for awhile, but I really like Oahu. I have read on other threads that LV is less expensive in Hawaii; this amazes me. I am pretty sure that this is already on your "to do" list, bake! [emoji6]
Your Fendi clutch looks fantastic!

I'm early at the office today because it's my car's "number coding" day (part of our government's traffic management measures). This is my bag and outfit. We're allowed casual get-ups for these summer months (April and May but attire extended until end of June)

Epi Speedy looks great on you!

I also don't know if I can live with just 1 daily bag. Time will tell. [emoji4]

Thanks for the necklace love! It has a light blue stone at the center, don't really know if it's precious or synthetic. But the setting is white gold. And while we are on jewelry, here are my almost daily pieces. These were all bought years ago, on separate occasions. But I just realized there is a commonality - heart!! [emoji173]️ I started wearing the bangle just 1-2 months ago. I now put it side by side with the charm bracelet so I am 2-toned (actually 3 if you count the rose gold). This way, it is much easier vis-a-vis bag hardware matching. [emoji106] And I could also use that 2-toned ring.

My makeup routine is similar to yours! [emoji4] I only put on moisturizer, BB or CC cream, sunscreen, powder, then some lip product. I don't even wear blushes most of the day. Lucky me my cheek is still naturally pink most of the day. I skip eye makeup coz I wear glasses, too. ;) But when I attend events, it's a must.

I used to do it thoroughly with highlighter and everything before DD came along. [emoji16] Now, not anymore. I'm just plain lazy. [emoji16] It's a nice excuse for me. [emoji38]

If you're looking for mild makeup, I wholeheartedly recommend Kanebo. It's a Japanese brand and their stuff are subtle, for all the product itself and the look it gives. My favorite lines are Lunasol and Kate. [emoji6]
Kanebo is available here, but for now I have my stash of freebies which I can use when needed. Haha, I'm glad I don't have another addiction. And some of my freebies date back. Is it true that makeup has expiry period of 2 years? I think mine are more than that, lol.

Epi Speedy looks great on you!
Thanks! It's a current favorite and has a lot of tick marks in my bag use list.

I'm going to Hawaii. [emoji4]
So if anyone has any Hawaii recommendations, please share! Like what to eat, where to shop, what to do. Lol.

What island(s) will you visit?

Just Oahu this time around.

@bakeacookie, I live on O'ahu. Here are a few recommendations, a drop in the bucket.

What to eat:
  • Malasadas - Leonard's Bakery on Kapahulu Ave.
  • Loco moco - Liliha Bakery, just one of many restaurants that serve good loco moco
  • Shave ice - Matsumoto's on the North Shore
Where to shop:
  • Ala Moana Center - premiere shopping destination; high-end luxury boutiques located on the second floor
  • Kalakaua Ave in Waikiki - Royal Hawaiian Center; International Marketplace
  • Ward Village Shops - Nordstrom Rack; various local boutiques
What to do (besides the beach):
  • Bishop Museum
  • Honolulu Museum of Art - I highly recommend getting a ticket to see Doris Duke's (tobacco heiress) Diamond Head estate, Shangri La. Tour the Islamic-style mansion and grounds with highly knowledgeable docents. Excellent tour that begins at the museum. A shuttle bus takes you to Shangri La and then back to the museum.
    • You must reserve a ticket in advance on-line as soon as you can nail a date to go; tickets go fast.
  • Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie - Requires most of the day. Learn about the various Polynesian islands and their unique traditions, attend a luau, see an evening show called "Ha: Breath of Life", awesome dancing and music.
  • Pali Highway Overlook
  • Diamond Head State Monument
  • World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument (Pearl Harbor/USS Arizona Memorial/Battleship Missouri) - For information on the sites, how to reserve tickets, etc. go to the National Park Service web site, www.nps.gov.
I hope you enjoy your vacation here. It will be fabulous.

@bakeacookie, my SA recently told me that the LV Neverfull MM, Hawaii edition is still in stock. About 24 available in the Waikiki stores (Gump Bldg and Hilton Hawaiian Village) and four at Ala Moana. $1450 USD plus 4.5% General excise tax. Most of the luxury boutiques, except Hermes, have "Hawaii pricing", which is generally 10% less than retail prices on the U.S. mainland.

Hot stamping at LV Ala Moana is a three-day turnaround time, don't know what it is at the other two stores. If you plan to get items hot stamped, then I suggest you buy them at the beginning of your trip so that they'll be hot stamped before you leave.

Wow! Can I save this for one day I visit the island? [emoji1360][emoji1360]

I don't think so. I used to read somewhere regarding pressed makeup and loose powder that those can stay as long as you keep it dry and clean and it hasn't changed.
But anything that's not definitely has a shorter shelf life.

Oh goodness! Thank you for all the information!

I have planned to do most of the attractions and eat at most of those places! So happy to hear those are the must dos!

And I'll have to drop off my stuff for stamping when I land it seems.

Is Ala Moana the only one that does the Hawaii stamp? I think I'm going to have a shopping appointment in the Waikiki LV, per my SAs. Not sure really lol they're setting up my appointment. But I'll drop off whatever I need stamped first, doesn't matter where really.

Wow only 24 of those bags? lol I wonder if I can reserve one or something. I'll have to ask my SAs to help me out with that.

Thank you for all the information!!!

I'm so excited for malasadas. [emoji23] and the Polynesian cultural center. Everyone says it's super fun.

I feel like that too sometimes.
I try not to think about other things to be obsessed with beyond handbags, but sometimes I feel other parts of my wardrobe are neglected. Lol
