Ok, they started landing... 2 today...
Of course, i could not stop on those 3 i posted, i ordered a few more, and here are first 2 early birds!
This is a brand new 89×89 cm (close to H carre) with silk fringe

And this one is vintage, but never used (it is actually crispy new) seller says min 25 years....
It's large approx 140 × 140 cm with wool fringe
It makes a perfect 'doughnut' roll around the neck

They both look good. Much better than the photo you showed at first.

Arhhhhhh a girl after my own heart, sounds like a fabulous collection. The most I ever had was 40 at which point I felt for me enough was enough. I've chopped and changed a lot over the years to suit my life style but now I've "matured" :whut: I've come to a time My collection is no longer evolving & constantly changing & I just don't need so many. We are also looking to downsize our home so storage may become a problem.............although we are looking to possible buy 2 smaller properties, one abroad in which case I can split my collection between 2 homes

I have done similar to this, I have most of mine arranged on open shelves in their dustbags but I have a large label with a colour picture hanging from each with the appropriate coloured ribbon to match the bag.

It's made it easy to identify where each bag is and also to select a bag to match an outfit. At one stage I was frantically looking through dustbags in a frantic last minute rush to get to work on time!

I've also made pillows for all of my bags so now instead of pulling out reams of tissue I just have a pillow which I leave on the spare bed
These pillows are great and so much more convenient than taking out wads of paper, but unfortunately I can't sew. So my bags are stuffed with the papers that they came with.

@Kisromax - evidently I wear pink more than I think. :amuse: I changed for date night tonight and realized I put together one of my favorite combos without really thinking "pink": a turquoise top w/a pink bag.

I had to laugh when I realized this.
I love the deep saturated colour of your Dior!

Sparkle- I think you are right to return the suede bag. I have yet to see suede get clean on anything and retain the soft plushness of it. I hope the YSL an get repaired.
Yesterday, I sold two more bags so at some point I need to pull my black bags and take a new picture minus one. We didn't do metalic yet so I'm safe with the other. Still trying to shift some things around to bags I will truly wear and work for me.
Congratulations on your sales - exciting in both the completed sales and the opportunities it opens up in your collection!

Love the way you folded / rolled this scarf - it is so pretty!

You can find inexpensive pillows! Container store also sells specific purse stuffing pillows, but much more than the ikea pillows.
Travel pillows fit really well in some bags, like my Speedy!
Thank you :ty:
surprisingly these are the very first and the very last ones i ordered, both arrived today  from different continents....
Great scarves so far, can't wait to see the rest!

I love this kind of story.
Can you wrap something like a twilly on the handles? It'd be in style enough to conceal the handles.
I've thought about that but have yet to go looking for a twilly. i've tried with a longer scarf just to see if I like the look and I don't think I'm tying it properly as it just looked kinda bulky. I think when I get the change maybe I'll just go to a fabric store and find a color that would actually match it and ask someone to help me make a twilly. I think the hardest thing is finding the right color, so I think i may go with a patter instead

Question for everyone! What is your most used bag so far this year?

I'm floored to see that mine is my LV Lockme II BB. But, it makes sense because sometimes I change into it after the workday to run around for errands, etc. I feel better now about the price for such a little bag. I've already worn it 21 times this year.

My second most used is my black patent Chanel Jumbo with 12 wears.

So what's yours? Any surprises? Do you think you need to rotate more or are you happy with how things are going with your use of your collection?

Great question! My most used bag is my Longchamp Le Pliage, followed by a tie between Chanel black Reissue 226 RHW and Celine black small Phantom Cabas with Belt.

It doesn't have to be a twilly. I think ribbon is fine, too. ;)

IMG_2300.JPG Hi again… busy week so I'm just getting in with my gray bags. The Longchamp Le.Foulonne tote in the rear is one of my favorite and much reached-for bags, the MbyMJ cross body is easy, useful, light, and has such soft leather, the Dooney was my cautious foray into the drawstring craze of 2015 (not for me, drawstrings) and is on its way out, and the little guy is my grabber for morning walks and runs. I like gray bags. One of my big bag regrets is selling a BV large Bonita in a beautiful gray (fume). I thought it was too big and "kite-like" for my 5'3" frame but I just loved the color and now I know I could have pulled it off. Sigh ...

Omg. I think we have the same Dooney bag, but mine is black with red.

I'm about to give this bag away, I'm having second thoughts now. [emoji85]
