the above story with a less experienced SA was not exception - when i read the tags for her (in Bal they are in french, veau, agneau, chevre) she was like.... what???? is that the skin type???
she didn't even know that, she thought it was a random combination of letters for some internal system definitions

What's also weird is when brands re-use a name. LV seems to recycle names enough, so it makes it hard to find info or preloved stuff.

The BV bag has an external pocket on each side but no compartments on the inside.

LV's name recycling program has to end. I don't like it either.

I plan to buy one black bag this year - a carefree bag to replace the MK Leigh. I also planned buy a real python clutch to replace the pleather one but I forget I have this bag til we do these photos. :amuse:

BUT!! What I miss is not a handbag. It's my sofa from the 2016 pictures! Do you like my avant-garde Chanel box + towel handbag display? :lol: All my stuff is still in storage because I haven't bought a house in my new <spew, spew, hate, hate> city yet. And, thank goodness I didn't because I can't take the cold. And it's boring. And there's no shopping. And I don't care for the local culture. And...:yucky:

So, I'm planning to move at the end of the year to a much warmer climate and a city I know I love. Then I'll have warm weather, culture, shopping and my beloved furniture back!!!! LOL! But hey, nothing ventured nothing gained. I'm always willing to try something new. :biggrin:

Love the black hardware o the YSL, super cool and sexy and adore the lizard wallet, what a beauty (DH has a Gucci one very similar I bought him from Heathrow but is a bit worried about using it)

A few more (vintage) black.

I still have all these even though I have sold quite a few vintage bags in the past 3 years, including exotics. These are some of my favourites, and quality right up there, even among the Guccis and the Hermes.

(To the rear) 1950s Bellstone lizard with pale pink interior; (front left) 1950s top-handle baby croc with matching purse and mirror and (front right); Mappin and Webb Turtle convertible clutch from the early 1970s.
