My black bags have only changed a little...

I plan to buy one black bag this year - a carefree bag to replace the MK Leigh. I also planned buy a real python clutch to replace the pleather one but I forget I have this bag til we do these photos.

BUT!! What I miss is not a handbag. It's my sofa from the 2016 pictures! Do you like my avant-garde Chanel box + towel handbag display? All my stuff is still in storage because I haven't bought a house in my new <spew, spew, hate, hate> city yet. And, thank goodness I didn't because I can't take the cold. And it's boring. And there's no shopping. And I don't care for the local culture. And...

So, I'm planning to move at the end of the year to a much warmer climate and a city I know I love. Then I'll have warm weather, culture, shopping and my beloved furniture back!!!! LOL! But hey, nothing ventured nothing gained. I'm always willing to try something new.

Have you had it long to see how it wears? I've seen it on display, but once I got my airline bag I didn't want to know of anything else at the moment haha.

It seems to have a good capacity size wise so I am interested.

I have had it for a couple of weeks and I haven't used it yet because we have had rain or snow every day. The leather is very similar to the distressed calfskin on the reissue and I haven't had any problems with that bag so I anticipate that this will be carefree as well. There may be a little scratching on the base eventually but I will condition it and enjoy using it!

@jennlt, welcome to the group and you have a well rounded black collection. I like Gabrielle! Just last night I was browsing eBay for non-flap Chanels and the totes with chains really caught my eye. And I also love your Speedy B in Epi!

Thanks, I'm happy to have found this thread! Chanel is making some beautiful totes right now; you are looking at the right time. I've always loved the epi leather and when I saw the Speedy I couldn't resist!

Definitely need to research this bag too. It's gotten very popular in the short time it's been out so it must be a hit, just like the boy bags!

I love black and I own more bags in black than any other color. I took these in 2 separate pictures because it was easier to keep both cats off the bed, they're snoopy! I forgot a few, two Coach shoulder bags and a Mackage tote. So far, I'm not doing this too good I guess?!

One of my favourite bag colours is black. There have been long periods when I can't bear to carry anything else (although there are also months I cannot bear a black bag anywhere near me). Some of my favourite looks are all black outfits but with lots of different textures.

Starting with patents, they take a lot of polish(ing) but they give even an all-black outfit a little polish and punch too
