I like how you modified your collection. I've forgotten that you sold the Dior Soft tote. I was eyeing that style then but I told myself I want it in the small size. But I saw one in the flesh in Japan, and I realized the small is too tiny for what I was thinking about!My black bags have only changed a little...

I plan to buy one black bag this year - a carefree bag to replace the MK Leigh. I also planned buy a real python clutch to replace the pleather one but I forget I have this bag til we do these photos.
BUT!! What I miss is not a handbag. It's my sofa from the 2016 pictures! Do you like my avant-garde Chanel box + towel handbag display?All my stuff is still in storage because I haven't bought a house in my new <spew, spew, hate, hate> city yet. And, thank goodness I didn't because I can't take the cold. And it's boring. And there's no shopping. And I don't care for the local culture. And...
So, I'm planning to move at the end of the year to a much warmer climate and a city I know I love. Then I'll have warm weather, culture, shopping and my beloved furniture back!!!! LOL! But hey, nothing ventured nothing gained. I'm always willing to try something new.
With your current collection you don't have a tote in black. Would you replace the Dior tote? I really like the YSL Cabas and if one presents itself at a reasonable price preloved then I might just go for it. And I'm having difficulty now resisting the Rive Gauche that is at the consignment shop at a very reasonable price (roughly $1,050 when converted)!!

I liked the Dior tote a lot. I just didn't like it on me. I plan to get a replacement next year if I find one I love. It should be a teeny bit more sleek but with similar function: comfortable on the shoulder, divided sections, middle zip compartment.
And, I love my YSL bag. It's super functional: lightweight but holds a ton, is a satchel with an optional shoulder strap. Also, it gets a lot of compliments which I find odd because it's just a black bag and I bought it to be a little but discreet.
I like your bags, Spark, but your Dior wallet is uber cute!!!!!My black bags have only changed a little...

It's weird when bags don't have names. Doesn't Prada just have style numbers or something?
What's also weird is when brands re-use a name. LV seems to recycle names enough, so it makes it hard to find info or preloved stuff.

I mispronounce everything French. I try saying it like it's spelled and that's never worked haha.
my oddest experience with a SA was in a Balenciaga section of Bloomingdales, when i was explaining to the SA that NOT all Bal bags were made of lambskin, which she was trying to convince me in, but Metallic Edge ones were goats, Papiers were calfskin and others were lambskin, her genuine surprise was so funny.... she was taking out the tags from every each bag and was wow-ing at every discovery....
